Bat Out Of Hell - 24/192
Outstanding.

i bought this on LP when it first came out. Played it, hated it. Played it again a few days later, still hated it. I've still got the LP. It's in pristine condition, hardly been played. I never got to like it. I don't know why but it would be a boring old world if we all liked the same thing.
Hey ho, back to Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Foofighters and the other stuff from that era that I do like.
Hope I haven't rained on your parade Ted.
Not at all.
Edward
Classic album, just don't take it too seriously! Just wish there was a re-mastered version. I love anything that has the involvement of the genius that is Todd Rundgren.
Derek and the Dominos
Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs - CD Rip

Playing on Vinyl on Colombia Records 1967 - Incredible Byrds Album from The Byrds one of their best in my opinion
Jim Hall & Bob Brookmeyer - Live at the North Sea Jazz festival.
- Jim Hall - Guitar
- Bob Brookmeyer - Valve trombone
If you like good jazz in an intimate setting, then you should check out this CD. It’s of a live concert that Jim Hall and Bob Brookmeyer gave at the North Sea Jazz festival in 1979. In such a setting there is no place to hide. And as this recording shows these are to very gifted musicians. Not only can the improvise very well, they also listen to each other and respond to ideas of one another. Jazz in it’s purest form, imo. Highly recommended.
Marvin Gaye - What's Going On (1971). Ground breaking album for Marvin. Goes well with a sunny, summer day.
24/96 flac on a USB stick.

Hi Jeroen, do you know if it’s the same as this one:
(1971 | 2016)
At the end of yet another hot cloudless afternoon, kicking back with some Bombay Sapphire nicely iced and toniced. This one from an SACD remaster by Kevin Gray for Analogue Productions using original masters in the main and otherwise best sources available. Stunning and just like the Bombay Sapph' it's hitting the spot instantly.
I've been reading Johnny Marr's autobiography and this has inspired me to dig out the debut record by The Smiths
(1994)
The Hoax - Sound Like This
After another listen to Surf's Up it's time for some great British blues rock from these boys.

Hi Clive B. Yes they are the same. I just checked your version on amazon and the tracks are exactly the same as on my version. Regards, Jeroen.
The singer-songwriter follows up her gloriously baroque debut with an album that uses deep grooves, politicized self-portraiture, and an eye for everyday cruelty to reckon with life in the Trump era.
Mojo (2010). Tom and the band doing a great blues jam. I think it's one of their best efforts.
CD rip on USB stick.
Gary Moore - Blues For Greeny, just managed to fit this one in before the next match.
My favourite Moore record
1969 - UK first pressing...
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours - U.S Remaster 2 x 45 rpm vinyl
A really exceptional job this sounding great this evening my favourite version yet . This LP is very close to my heart and has been with me in various guises since I was 15 years old in 1984 it had gone out fashion a bit by then but it beat the hell out of Duran Duran.
(1997)
Buena Vista Social Club
Lovely stuff very well produced and recorded with Ry Cooder at the helm, not an album that I've listened to for quite a while, it's just the job on this lovely warm evening
Paul Weller - Wild Wood Original U.K 1st Press vinyl.
What can I say about this record I've worn out every copy I've had.

I just bought the 33 1/3 remaster, it sounds pretty good too.
The Who - The Who by Numbers - Classic Records vinyl reissue.
Slip Kid.......Slip Kid......Slip Kid.

Such good taste, Spirit ...brilliant album, love the excerpts from Star Trek. Had the pleasure of meeting Randy California at a Birmingham UK gig way back in the mists of time.
And ... Beach Boys Surfs Up ..fab album and sublime title track.

Fantastic album - it was one of my favourites when using my then new Naim system in the early 90's.
2017- Vinyl...
