On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Do yourself a favor and spent an euro on Bandcamp and you will be blown away what can be done with just a piano and drums. Highly recommended.
SACD (two channel DSD), on the new Oppo 205. Stunning sound quality, even straight out of the box.
Something a bit more contemporary whilst eating dinner.
Mr Wilson has again done a great job, while the sound quality of Yes never has beeen sublime...
Feel good jazz album, with a Latin spirit...
Quite a dynamic jazz album, will need more runs...
Nice album, just before sleep. She doesn’t have exactly the silk touch of Uchida, but does a great job with these Sonatas .....
Keith Richards - Crosseyed Heart, time for a bit of Keef

He seems to be an incredibly busy individual, and something of a genius between all his solo/group efforts and remasters of classics.
Is this from the Yes collection you mentioned on Qobuz? I think it was just under £30 with Qobuz Sublime - as I only know a little of their work I'm tempted to purchase but wonder if I'd be better off putting that towards upgrading my Sublime subscription to Sublime+. Trouble is I think I have some kind of deal on the Sublime subscription as an early adopter which makes it cheaper, and I guess I'd lose that if I reverted to Sublime after upgrading - I'm tempted to try an upgrade to see what's available in Sublime+ as my Sublime renews in about 3 weeks so I'd be only paying pro rata for Sublime+ for a few weeks if I decided to go back to Sublime.
Two channel SACD. I don't think I've ever heard this album sounding so good (even on vinyl).

I bought it after your recommendation yesterday, very enjoyable.
Sorry, another one for Coltrane’s Both Directions at Once, following recommendations from here and the 4 star review from Jazzwise. Wonderful accompaniment to a glass or two of my favourite malt :-) .
24/192 download from QOBUZ

Yes it’s part of the Yes Remasters of Steven Wilson. I think you need to be a fan of yes to like their music to the full. The albums in the package are quite good, while they are not from the poppy period of Yes. I can’t evaluate if Sublime + is good. I don’t use Qobuz for streaming, so I am only interested in download discounts which are equal for normal and plus. And for mobile situations very often the connection quality is not good enough to enjoy high res....
Re-living my early Naim days in the 90's with LP12/Nac 72/NAP 250/EPOS ES14s, currently playing via LP12/Ekos/AT OC-9/Lingo/Linto into the Nova's Analogue 1 input (digitised I believe) outputting to a newer NAP 250 and the old Epos ES14's until I can muster up the energy to shift my active SBLs out of storage.
Funky or what!
Original vinyl pressing ('93 I think).
Loved the charting singles, and have a worn 'Once Upon a Time' on vinyl never had any of the early albums.
So on vinyl from HMV's 'exclusive' (?) re-release on GOLD vinyl heaven forbid!
...and to follow on if I can find my vinyl copy of this I'll be ecstatic:

I stream a lot from Qobuz at home using the Sublime subscription, naturally CD quality only for things I might buy in HD or not available in HD where I'd more likely buy the CD from Amazon and rip (plus benefit of Auto-Rip) as there is no discount on CD quality (weird and I sent them feedback saying it's cheaper to buy physical media).
Vinyl re-issue, original elsewhere - I really like the foil effect on the re-issue album cover, very nice:
Mark Knopfler - Privateering, currently playing disc1.I'm a big fan of Mr Knopfler's work but I find this double album a bit of a slog

Have to agree....not one of my favourites

That's a great find Bert. Thak you.
I expect you know them, but Jaques Loussier recorded three terrific piano and drums albums for CBS in the late 70s/early 80s: Pulsion, Pulsion Sous La Mer, and Pagan Moon. They've never been released on CD, though a CD compilation (Pulsion/Sous La Mer) does pop up from time to time on Discogs.
