On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Fantastic album. I am not so much into blues, but this one I dig...
Triggered me to move to my this, much more modern touch...
Ended before the game with this great album...
On CD:-
Miles Davis - Seven Steps To Heaven
1969 - Vinyl - UK first pressing...
Some chilled British blues - yep, the cover can be deceptive - with Keef on drums, (more) Miller Anderson on guitar and a guest appearance by John Mayall.
Vinyl released 1963 - From the Verve “The Sound Of America “ boxset. ????
Michiel Stekelenburg - Layers
Jazz with strong influences from rock music.
Michiel Stekelenburg - Guitar, compositions
Efraim Trujillo - Sax
Jeroen van Vliet - Piano
Guus Bakker - Double Bass
Pascal Vermeer - Drums
Now Playing.......
Bill Morrissey - Songs of Mississippi John Hurt
Streaming on NAS........ A wonderful album, particularly like the second track 'Avalon Blues' although there is not a track on this album that I do not enjoy.......
1978 - Double vinyl - (57-62 recordings) - UK pressing...
Some Bob Marley on a very sunny day.
CSNY - So Far (1974) On vinyl, good tunes.
Double vinyl released 1980 - One of Springsteen’s best albums. An all time classic.????
Enjoying this Tangerine Dream album - Playing on Vinyl on Virgin Records 1979
(1972 | 2016)
Wishbone Ash - Argus
A classic album ripped from a recent SACD, sounding pretty good with the WC footie muted on screen (Uruguay v Portugal). Lots of cold drinks going down obviously its been another stotter.

One of my favourites of theirs Ian and I've got a hundred albums or so from them, loads of live stuff from the Tangerine Tree etc. obviously...
Yungchen Lhamo Coming Home streaming on Tidal, discovered her on Radio Paradise, an interesting wonderful sounding album, particularly the track ‘Sky’, she escaped Tibet and went on to India and from there to Oz where her commercial career began, worth a listen
Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra & Mariss Jansons
Mahler: Symphony No. 7 in E Minor
Edward
Paul Weller - Wild Wood (1993). Never heard of him, someone mentioned him earlier. Not too bad on my first listen. Streaming on Tidal.

Absolutely, spot on and let's rock on.
Scott Hamilton - After hours
Listening to some relaxing jazz with Scott Hamilton playing the sax.
- Bass – Bob Cranshaw
- Drums – Lewis Nash
- Piano – Tommy Flanagan
- Tenor Saxophone – Scott Hamilton
Ostura, The Room.
Ostura are from the Lebanon and this is their sophomore album and what an album it is. Progressive metal, orchestral, cinematic with wonderful Male and Female vocals. It's like Evanescence taken to the max in an alternative reality. Great from the very first play and getting better each time I hear it.
