On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
The last listening 2 completely different albums. Chilling cello, a kind of modern neo classical sound...from Bandcamp
Quiet trio jazz, can also work in the background, but still quite sophisticated...
Starting the day with a fine rendering of Rachmaninov...
Fine start to July with this vinyl from 2012. Great album. ????
Zoot Sims - Zoot Sims and the Gershwin Brothers
Zoot Sims playing only Gershwin song and he does that very well.

- Joe Pass - Guitar
- George Mraz - Bass
- Grady Tate - Drums
Arctic Monkeys - Tranquility Base Hotel + Casino

I understand that this latest offering has divided opinion amongst many AM fans. However, I think it's rather good.
Vinyl released 1974 - Excellent album. ????
Vinyl released 1975 - Instant classic must have Crosby & Nash album. ????
One of the better Dylan tribute albums. Great version of 'Boots of Spanish Leather' by Martin Simpson.

Bob Dylan - Tempest, worth the price for "Duquesne Whistle alone.
The Frightnrs - Nothing More To Say - Brooklyn based Rockstedy outfit on Daptone Records vinyl perfect for this beautiful summer sunshine..

great singer, great songs, great memories from a ridiculous number of years back....CD rip
Elton John - Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, must say, if you are a fan of Reg there is not a duff track considering its a double.I think its his best.
An official live recording of one of the gigs from the above tour.
Had another nice day of reading about music and at the same time trying out new music I read about...
hard edgy jazz with a slight Latin favor..
Australian Rock Band - quite good have to hear more...

Not as good as his last but still quite good
Got again a bit into Devin, he is a great artist who deserves more attention. Will check out his new album later this week
Gave it now a bit more time. Due to the other influences than Stolt, a quite interesting album, while not a masterpiece...
An agile album, stored it in the list for another session later..
