Great album, it was been played non stop on the radio when I was in Chicago on holidays in summer '77. Bought it, brought it home, played it a lot and still have it!
Now Playing.........
Enrico Rava & Stefano Bollani - The Third Man
Enrico Rava (trumpet) and Stefano Bollani (piano).
Streaming on TIDAL........ Taking out Enrico & Stefano out for another spin with 'The Third Man.' Enjoy both of these musicians and listening to this album for the first time and the opening track is sounding mighty fine!
Playing on Compact Disc - Fabulous album from The Streets from 2002 dealing with everyday working class life.
Now playing this after being reminded of it yesterday by Haim Ronen. I had forgotten how enjoyable this is. There's some gorgeous bowed bass in the opening piece which starts out solo and then in comes Kenny Burrell providing harmony. It's a very nice album indeed and is, of course, superbly recorded.
For some reason unknown to me, this popped up on the Naim app - I hadn't been playing it or even thinking about it consciously, but clearly the Naim app knows best - and who am I to argue?
Good choice, Naim app!
Some trax off this album not due out until 21st Sept.
33⅓rpm 180 grams, wonderful sound, great artist.
Norah Jones - Not Too Late, a soothing vibe after the footie.
Now Playing........
Lizz Wright - Grace
Streaming on TIDAL......... Wednesday afternoon and looking for a little 'Grace' and Lizz certainly delivers!

Fairport Convention - Leige & Lief.
Now Playing.........
Lizz Wright - Freedom and Surrender
Streaming on TIDAL........ After a bit of 'Grace' from Lizz I thought I would pursue a little 'Freedom & Surrender!. Lizz is sounding mighty sweet!
CD. Gérard Caussé - 6 Suites de Danses - J. S. Bach
Carrying on from Mr Seakayaker this fine album from 2003.
A wonderful version of the Goldberg Variations, played on six viols.
