One Foot in the Blues
Not an old early album from the ZZ Tops as the uninitiated might have expected from the look of the cover, rather its a compilation of some of their bluesier numbers. Good stuff but then I'm a sucker for all things ZZ...

Another addition to my Cara Dillon collection. I think this is her debut album but I'm not sure.
Yes it is, Mike. The reliable Discogs have it as being released in 2001 as her debut.
Thanks, Steve. Picked it up for a couple of quid and am enjoying it.
Absolute steal Mike. Beautiful album.

Ordered this CD yesterday couple of quid off the bay looking forward to it being delivered.
This is a superb recording. The cutting edge of Scofield's guitar carving out the melody. Just heard my favourite track 'Bill Me' recorded with Bill Frisell. Charlie Haden on bass and Joey Baron on drums all captured so well. Tremendous sound.
Double vinyl released 2000 - Excellent album.????
Brian Blade- drums, guitar & vocals
Melvin Butler- tenor & soprano saxophone
Jon Cowherd- piano & keyboards
Dave Easley- pedal steel guitar
Kurt Rosenwinkel- electric & acoustic guitars
Christopher Thomas- bass
Myron Walden- alto sax & bass clarinet
Daniel Lanois- guitars (tracks 8 & 9 only)
Joni Mitchell- vocal (track 8 only)
Another fine collaboration from John Scofield, this time with Pat Metheny. Both giants of the guitar IMO. I love Scofield's tone - so unique.
On vinyl...
On my way back home from the festival - great album...
Also on my way back...
(1965 | 1988 CD)
My Generation
This great old Who banger in mono which I haven't listened to in far too many years...
