On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Something about the LP cover twigged my memory and I've just realised I got a copy of this album with a bunch of LPs I bought some years back. Only question is, where is it now?? I will try to track it down today and give it a clean and a play.
Released 2000 - Fine intimate and daring jazz twists on Joni Mitchell songs. ????
- Alto Saxophone – Vincent Herring
- Bass – Ratzo B. Harris
- Drums – Ron Vincent
- Piano – David Lahm
- Saxophone – Roger Rosenberg
- Trumpet – Randy Brecker
Vinyl released 1988 - REM's sixth album, and a great one. ????
A perfect piece of homegrown jazz for a sunday morning such as this - The Graham Collier Septet and Deep Dark Blue Centre...
I'd been after a copy of this for ages. Still looking for the vinyl, but the CD is fine for now...
Sometimes, only Todd will suffice. UK first press vinyl:
On CD:-
Robert Palmer - Some People Can Do What They Like
Julia Fischer - Bach concertos
Vinyl - Some phenomenal trumpet playing by Miles, but the recording quality is not very good.
Any ideas if it is available on Hi-Res or remastered anywhere anyone ?
Thanks
Vinyl released 2010 - Fine album by Canadian singer/writer Leif Vollebekk. ????

Richard Hawley - Standing at the Sky's Edge.
Richard drops a tab and goes all psyche on us .............. fabulous production and SQ.
The opener, "She Brings the Sunlight" was probably the song which first convinced me to move from CD spinning to streaming
ripped CD's, as the whole soundscape just opened up ................ well, that's what I heard, anyway.
J. S. Bach (1685-1750): Peter Hill, piano
Goldberg Variations BWV 988

These Japanese SHM CD issues really are the mutt's nuts ............... every Zep fan needs to have them in their collection.
Graham Parker - Burning Questions, on vinyl from 1992. Another LP I've not listened to in some time. Pete Thomas from the Attractions on drums, Mick Talbot from the Style Council on keyboards, Andrew Bodnar from the Rumour on bass, Eddie Manion on saxophone and P.P Arnold on backing vocals. Good to hear this after so long.
John Martyn - Solid Air.
Moving on from Richard Hawley ^^, this just seemed to fit the bill .......... more dreamy soundscapes from the late, great, John Martyn.
1993 - Vinyl - Uk pressing...
Now Playing............
Natalie Merchant - Motherland
Streaming on NAS........... Starting the day with Natalie, a fantastic album from a fantastic musician!
The Magpie Salute-High Water I
the more familiar I get with these songs the better it gets. Great album.

Most definitely, Dave. Best Zep CDs I've heard.
Blake Mills - Heigh Ho.
I've posted this one before, but since I seem to be in the mood this afternoon for "soundscape" style albums, here 'tis again.
To quote a review elsewhere, "first listen is borderline bewildering", but persevere, dear reader, and you will be hugely rewarded, as
it soon becomes quite addictive.
Anyone into the "Paris Texas" type guitar sounds of Ry Cooder will simply lurve this album ............. and it's on Tidal, so what are you
waiting for?
2016 - Until The Hunter
Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions
Lloyd Cole - Don't Get Weird On Me Babe. On vinyl. I've been in the mood for playing some of my older albums and I'd forgotten quite how good this is.
