Turns out there's loads of interruptions to pure Aretha, with a  bunch of other singers, who ain't Aretha .......... attempting / ruining

duets with the Queen of Soul, before things get back on track.

Sorry chaps.

Great call, Steve. Haven’t listened  to that for quite sometime. Thanks for the reminder.

Hiss Golden Messenger - Lateness of Dancers. Just getting into this, although I've had it for a while.  There is a touch of Dylan about his voice. The music reminds me a little bit of JJ Cale.

The Doors - The Doors on reissue 1980 vinyl. Continuing with The Doors. Can't seem to locate this album on on The River. I'm looking for the 40th Anniversary CD (2007) mix. I have the rest of their albums from that 2007 reissue release, happy with the sound quality.

Breakfast on R3. We've just had a short poem by Hardy read by Alan Bates. Mozart now. All very ably presented by Petroc Trelawny and all a welcome alternative to Today.
