Gregg Allman - Southern Blood
One of the best albums from last year and a fine one to leave us with.
When I first joined this forum, an early discussion included Powerpop recommendations. To this day, this tune is one of finest pieces of music I can Dad dance to

Suzanne Vega - Solitude Standng, Original U.K. vinyl
Spotted a couple of people listenimg to this on the ND555 thread, and thought it had been a long time. One of the great singer-songwriter albums, fantastic songs, sung with all the emotion of the words, and a fine band. Another album that’s been a regular part of my life for over 30 years and will stay so.
With his version of Horace Silvers Song for my Father from which Steely Dan "borrowed" the opening bars to Rikki Don't Lose that Number
Driving percussion and some cracking Carlos Santana guitar solos.
Bill Evans - How my heart sings!
Mid- to uptempo jazz from Bill Evans. With Chuck Israels on bass and Paul Motians on drums.
Genesis - Foxtrot, 1984 UK reissue vinyl
Great album, prog at its finest, Gabriel’s songs are fantastically complex and interesting, and the band are stunning, Hacket’s guitar work is sublime, rutherford’s bass drives the line, Banks is fantastic on keyboards, and Collins is superb on the drums, he plays exactly what is needed. Supper’s Ready is one of my all-time favourite songs. As I change sides I’m getting the illustrations for S R ready (above) on YouTube, I was introduced to this artist in this thread a few weeks ago, brilliant stuff.
Claire Morales All The Wanting. Alt rock
Enjoying this Live Jethro Tull from 1978 - I remember the concert at Madison Square Gardens on the BBC when they broadcast it on TV and thought they where great - Playing on Vinyl
(2006)
Fink - Biscuits For Breakfast
An early one from the blues man Fink, years make no difference his output has been consistently good.
Now Playing.......

Streaming on NAS........... In the mood for some of that fine baritone vocals of Sean Rowe! He always sound might fine........
