Claire Morales All The Wanting. Alt rock
That’s a stunning cover!
John and Beverly Martyn - Stormbringer
I wanted to hear Beverley's voice on Sweet Honesty.
Fairport Convention - Moat on the Ledge - original UK vinyl
1982 album from when I was realising how much I loved Fairport, this is a fine album. Very good SQ for a live album, excellent folk-rock from some of the best in the business, Richard Thompson on guitar can’t really go wrong, add the late great Dave Swarbrick on fiddle, and the excellent rhythm lineup and it’s brilliant musicianship.
The original band had split up in 1979, had a farewell concert, then did an annual reunion for a few years until reforming in 1985 with a set of different lineups until the present day.
Apart (thankfully) from “No Time for Love” most of the social commentary on this is so sadly pertinent today, nuclear threat, housing policy, power of church and history..... oh and some of the best rock/trad fusion committed to disc.
From 1981.

Sean Rowe - Madman
Streaming on NAS...... Continuing on the journey this afternoon with Sean, one sweet journey!
1991 - CD...
A kind of a nice Keith evening...
Another one..
And the glorious return which will most probably be the last one of the evening...
The Who - Who Are You.
Jean Michel Jarre
Equinoxe - 24/48
Edward
Doll by Doll - Doll by Doll, Original U.K. vinyl
Fantastic band from the early ‘80s, sort of art-folk-hippie rock, the superb Jackie Leven on vocals (and songwriting), and great musicians behind him.
Moving Hearts - Live Hearts - Original vinyl
Thanks for the reminder Sloop, it’s been a while since I listened to the Hearts, great Irish rock band. This is a stunning Celt-Rock album. Christy had just left them, they did well on vocals without him, Davy Spillane on pipes and Declan Sinnott on guitar drove the band amazingly. I saw them on this tour, presumably on this gig unless they did another London night, they blew the house down.
Now Playing........
Sean Rowe - New Lore
Streaming on NAS.......... Continuing the afternoon journey with Sean, good company and sounding mighty fine!

Streaming on NAS......... This will be the end of the Sean Rowe journey this afternoon with earliest album released by Sean of the five that I own. .......and there is not a bad one among them! Love his work and look forward to his next album....
Equally as good as Tin Drum...
On 45rpm vinyl...

Hi Ewemon
Saw her live a little while ago, so I've been waiting for this new release. How do you think it compares to her last LP?
Nigel
Not allowed to comment Nigel.
I'm envious that you can enjoy this early, ewemon, but have consoled myself by placed my pre-order ready for the release on 7th Sept.
Now Playing..........
Elvis Costello & Allen Toussaint - The River In Reverse
Streaming on NAS........ Mixing it up with Elvis and Allen this Sunday afternoon, a fantastic collaboration that was born in the aftermath of hurricane Karina. A wonderful album that is worth the time to give a listen......
Christy Moore - On The Road - Original U.K. vinyl
2018 Triple album, the great Irish folkie/folk-rocker recorded his best-loved songs over 3 years of gigs, with bands ranging from him and the stunning guitarist Declan Sinnott to a 5 piece, it’s a phenomenal album.
