On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

...are you blown away?
It’s certainly different to my usual fare. Have to give it a few listens to see will it seep into my receding brain.
Struck me how strange “within you without you” must have sounded in 1967.

One of those singer song writers who IMHO has never made a bad album.
Carter The Unstoppable Sex Machine - 30 Something
Vaguely remember seeing them at Cardiff Student Union many moons ago. Completely nuts.
My fav Silencers album.
Michael McDonald - Motown. I don't know why, but I'm a sucker for the Motown sound and I think he does a good job.
Now Playing......
Yusef / Cat Stevens - The Laughing Apple
Streaming on TIDAL......... just finished watching a show on PBS, The Cat's Attic, with my wife that I taped months ago and wanted to continue on with more of his music, sounding mighty fine!
Now Playing........
Cat Stevens - Tea For The Tillerman
Streaming on TIDAL........ continuing on with more of Cat Stevens music, jumping into the way back machine.....
Imgur doesn’t seem to like me anymore...

I was a huge fan, as you may be able to tell from the moniker...
Went to countless gigs, every one of them a riot.
Camel - Moonmadness. Playing this vinyl album as I hope to be seeing Camel performing this album in its entirety at the RAH next month. Unfortunately, I've just glanced through the article in Prog magazine and found, of course, it's being played by four old gits! In my mind I was still expecting the 1976 Camel.
Rose of Erin
On balance I think The Clash remain my favourite band of all time and their hugely diverse music, a big influence on me in so many ways, consistently takes me back to my youth.
This track popped up on Tidal as a new release and when Joe's voice waltzed out of my speakers (and it is very Joe), it was a joy to hear something from him I'd not heard before. A beautiful resurrection.
Emotional.
As the turntable was spinning, returning Moonmadness to the 'C' section of my record rack, I spotted this, which I've been meaning to revisit for a while now. This will be my last chance before my NAP500 goes off for the DR treatment. A very enjoyable album.
Pink Floyd
The Piper At The Gates Of Dawn (2011Remaster) CD Rip
First alum of the day. Been a very long time since I have played any of the early Pink Floyd, putting that right this morning, enjoying this “Psychedelic rock“ very much.

Playing on Compact Disc on Naxos - Some restful Bach Lute to get Thursday going in the office
A very rewarding version of the 6th...
For me new music, so far interesting...
Pink Floyd
A Saucerful of Secrets (2011 Remaster) - CD Rip
More great Psychedelic rock.

Playing on Cassette on TDK AR-X C90 - Nice Tex Mex album by Wes Mc Ghee
Before Massive Attack got busy tearing it up.
Now Playing..........
Michael McDonald - Motown
Streaming on TIDAL.......... A mention from DKNK yesterday had me place this album in the TIDAL queue and kicking off this Thursday morning with a little Motown! ......and Michael is sounding mighty sweet this morning
Tiefschwarz. Chocolate.
Slick pumped up electronica from the deep black brothers doing 2010 duties.
Now playing.........
The Silencers - A Letter from St. Paul
Streaming on TIDAL........ A mention of the 'The Silencers' from EWEMON yesterday had me place one of their albums in the queue and now taking it out for a spin, a little rock from 30 years ago and sounding pretty fine!
