On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Playing on Cassette on Maxell ULS -C60 - Depeche Modes debut album from 1981......give it a couple of albums and the darkside would be creeping in
A bit of Sly & The Family Stone (and why not?). This is the 2007 CD version of There's A Riot Goin' On, their chaotic masterpiece from '71, with bonus tracks.
Playing on Cassette on TDK SA C60 - Can't add much about this album........Move over Rover and let Jimi take over....you know what I'm talking about
On CD:-
Lowell George - Thanks I'll Eat it Here
Louis Cole. Time.
Now Playing......
Adrian Crowley - See Three Birds Flying
Streaming on TIDAL......... I had given 'Some Blue Morning' a listen recently an enjoyed the album so I am giving another of Adrian's albums a spin........
Another one of the '07 Sly CDs. Not as good as what came later, but still fun.

Oooh. That was my first Hendrix album. Used to play it on my Dansette getting very close to the speaker, especially for Purple Haze and The Wind Cries Mary. Happy days.
Mark Knopfler
Sailing To Philadelphia - 24/48
Edward
Because it's my favourite Peter G album, and there are plenty of good ones to chose from.
Now Playing.......
Agitation Free - Shibuya Nights - Live in Tokyo
Streaming on TIDAL......... have not taken this album out for a spin in awhile and the few times I have played it I enjoyed it quite a bit, so time for another spin!

- Alto Saxophone, Tenor Saxophone – Oliver Nelson
- Baritone Saxophone – George Barrow
- Bass – Paul Chambers (3)
- Drums – Roy Haynes
- Piano – Bill Evans
- Trumpet – Freddie Hubbard

Keith Jarrett - Silence
- Keith Jarrett - Piano
- Dewey Redman - Sax
- Charlie Haden - Bass
- Paul Motian - Drums
Playing on original vinyl. I was planning to get my amp turned off and the Fraim removed to the level of the amp in plenty of time before it was collected by my dealer, but one album followed another and I missed the doorbell when he arrived because SRV was playing at a fairly realistic level and was sounding so good. This is a terrific album, but everyone on here already knows that!

Yep. 7th Sept. Got my pre-order in.
Michael Jackson's Bad (can't post an image as imgur is playing up).
Was prompted to play this by a post by Richieroo on the 'ND555 impressions' thread earlier today where he included a u-tube link to an interview by Michael Fremer in which Fremer talks about his appearance as an expert witness in a court case. He uses this album to illustrate to a jury the effects of good and bad mastering.
