The Long Run
Imgur playing up again tonight, this one is a 24/96 WAV released a few years ago. Not everyone's favourite Eagles album but one that I've always enjoyed.
Always enjoyed this myself Steve. It was actually one of the most returned to record shops pieces of vinyl when released. Pressings were absolutely shocking however sq was pretty good.
That's interesting about the bad pressing Ewen, I've got a 2005 Asylum label SHM-CD of this and the SQ is truly excellent with a lovely dynamic range nudging 16 it's my preferred version offering more than the recent hi-res release.
It was one of the worst batches of vinyl pressings I ever came across. Warners were literally getting sheds loads sent back to them and since they couldn't keep up with demand I always thought that they had a group of folk at the pressing factory who were sending them back out again as the second set of pressings were as bad as the first.

That’s kind of scary, but I hope you enjoyed it, I did...
Victory - The Broken Instrument (2018). My second listen, she is quite talented. On Tidal.

Haven't played this in such a long time. The track Walk On contains my favourite Hiatt lyrics.
Tom Petty. Full Moon Fever. On original CD from 1989. Technically Petty's debut solo album despite having previously made seven albums with the Heartbreakers. All but one of the Heartbreakers (Stan Lynch) contributed as did all but one of the Traveling Wilburys (Bob Dylan).
The Byrds Greatest Hits (1967). On CD from 1999. I was inspired to listen to this after playing Petty's Full Moon Fever. Maybe it should have been the other way round?

My favourite Bill Frisell album. Think I bought mine from the great Mole Jazz on Gray's Inn Road, around 1992.
Sounds of the earth segment of 'Breakfast' on BBC R3. Reed warblers and skylarks, gorgeous. Programme introduced by Elizabeth Alker.
Sort of surprised radio doesn't really figure here. Maybe it's just easier to post an album cover and the odd line. Radio has given me some fantastic moments.
Idles new one.
Play this on an otherwise potentially lazy Sunday morning and I’m good to go and bang a few heads together, setting the world to rights.
Lively. (Though I think Brutalism is a tough act to follow).
Evgeni Koroliov - Bach: Goldberg variations
This is a terrific record. The jazz pianist Edouard Ferlet has joined with the harpsichordist Violaine Cochard for an album of interpretations of Bach pieces, moving between the original text and improvisation. It’s wonderfully played and beautifully recorded. Even better, it’s on special offer on Qobuz at the moment
Vinyl released 2018 - This came the other other day along with “Raw Velvet” by Bobby Whitlock. First play and sounding great. ????
