On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
(1976)
Long Misty Days
More Robin Trower and one of my favourites of his, the title track is just wonderful.

Well if they can,t make money on a SNAXO for Kudos......which was a “pants” decision......I put my underpants order in as well....are we up to an order of 2 or does the laddy in green need a spare?
Genesis - Trespass
On Vinyl
Bentley Caldwell - The Place That I Call Home
Oh my, each time I listen to this I appreciate this gentleman's talent ever more. It seems Bentley is already getting the accolades he so richly deserves, but after his very first album! That is astonishing, but so is his talent.
Mark my words, this young man is going to be huge, if there is any justice in this world.
A Tribe Called Quest - We Got It From Here... Thank You For Your Service
CD rip.
On vinyl...
Queen - Greatest Hits - volumes 1 & 2.
O.K. it's not big, and it's not clever, but I find myself in a particularly lighthearted mood today, so, to explain, the last time I really
listened to these albums was on dodgy rip off cassettes out in the Gulf, some 30 odd years ago, on a "state of the art" Walkman.
Hearing them tonight just serves to remind me why I, and I assume, most of us here, decided to invest in Naim's philosophy of music
replay .................... anyone for Bon Jovi?
Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky (1840-1893): Anna Malikova, Piano
Vinyl released 2010 - Time for a bit of Norah. ????
Bought uncut for the RT interview, not a bad covermount CD.

Interesting listening journey for me today and more specifically this evening. Below one of the interesting albums of the Stones. While in reality I quickly switched to the high resolution mono version of the album which is much better...
Then moved to the latest released live album. It’s nice, but for me it could be a bit less tame and more wild...
In some way for me a logical step to Jeff. This high res version of the album is a real treat and happy I replaced my cd quality copy some time ago....
Then a less logical move to Montezuma’s Revenge. A Dutch a cappella group from years ago, who did great things with modern songs. I would argue that they where on a pretty high level, while they never achieved world fame. The published song is a nice version of a well know song...
People more often play his first album. But this album is also very special and varied, I like it and of course a great voice....
Rainbow - Rising
On Vinyl
Right now listening to this great audiophile album, which I also referred to in the ND555 thread. While it’s coming from a guitar player, it’s not per definition a typical guitar album. And it has enough juice to also not get into only nice ECM sound landscapes....
George Harrison - Early Takes Volume 1, does anybody think we will ever see a Volume 2 ?
Now Playing..........
Madeleine Peyroux - Anthem
Streaming on TIDAL....... a newly released album 31082018, and taking Madeleine's 'Anthem' for its inaugural spin and she is sounding sweet!
