On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Oh, go on then,
The Stranglers - Rattus Norvegicus.
Erm, quite LOUD!
Staying in similar areas as before, very sophisticated playing...
2018 - Tidal...
I need a fix of The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald every now and again!
Now Playing.........
Patrick Jonsson - Suddenly We Looked Like Giants
Streaming on TIDAL......... This is one of those times you look at what's New in the album section of TIDAL, see an album cover and title that grabs your attention and you just go for a ride, released 31082018 and taking out for a spin...... Not for everyone I'm sure but I am enjoying the opening track.....
1973 - Tidal...

Now Playing.....................
Jack DeJohnette - In Movement
Jack DeJohnette (drums, piano, electronic percussion), Ravi Coltrane (tenor, soprano and sopranino saxophones) and Matthew Garrison (electric bass, electronics).
Streaming on NAS........... delivered to the house a few days ago, I listened to this album on TIDAL a couple of time and thoroughly enjoyed it! First time listening after ripping to NAS.....
Bert Schurink posted:Right now listening to this great audiophile album, which I also referred to in the ND555 thread. While it’s coming from a guitar player, it’s not per definition a typical guitar album. And it has enough juice to also not get into only nice ECM sound landscapes....
I agree with you Bert It is a great album!
I had it listed as one of my picks in the "Top Three Jazz albums 2017" thread! I hope to have the chance to listen to it on a ND555 some day but in the meantime it still sounds wonderful on my NDX!
Ferenc Snétberger - Titok
When you just can't seem to find some of those Beatles cuts, they might just be on this album:
+1...listened to this last night

George Harrison - Early Takes Volume 1, does anybody think we will ever see a Volume 2 ?
I hope so, but I've given up hope.
BTW, of all the hundreds of thousands of photos taken of The Beatles, this has to be among the ten best.
Paul Simon. The Rhythm Of The Saints. On original CD from 1990. My plan tonight was to play this album's predecessor 'Graceland', but for some reason this one beckoned stronger to me as I reached to the CD shelf.
Just during the workout listened to the not so well known Phideaux who makes fantastic progressive rock, soft / melodic side, this album Snowtorch was already quite a number of years ago his last album, while he just had released a new one...
Marc André is one of These magicians on piano who tend to take on very complex and less known material. This time Chopin, and again a high quality album...
Angela Hewitt - Debussy
Vinyl released 1967 - Woke up with Red House spinning around my head, so I’ve put the album on. Great stuff. ????
