On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Peter Hammill / Gary Lucas - Other World
Excellent album from the man from Van Der Graaf Generator
Pressing “focus on similar” from Lief and Leige in Roon suggested
a good suggestion.

Now Playing.................
Bill Frisell with Dave Holland and Elvin Jones
Bill Frisell (electric & acoustic guitars, loops), Dave Holland (bass) and Elvin Jones (drums).
Streaming on NAS....... a recent purchase and taking it out for a spin. A fantastic trio and never feel you can go wrong with a Bill Frisell album!
Crosby, Stills & Nash. Eponymous debut from 1969. On HDCD from 2006. Music that's warm and cozy as a comfortable leather recliner. Sit back, listen, relax and enjoy.
An early Alabama Lovesnakes release.
Just listened to her new album during my workout, great album....
Easing me into Friday morning
Andras Schiff - Bach: English Suites

Yes I like this one.
Very cool
Playing on Compact Disc - Wow ! what can you say they just make it seem so effortless lyric wise and with the music.......Genius
Paul McCartney - Egypt Station, first play and SQ much better than the previous two albums.
Playing on Double Compact Disc - Good mix of The big Stones tracks but theres so many which are'nt there - Great album non the less
Listening in in the background on UniQute and certainly I think this will make it to the main system later for a serious listen.
Roon is showing a volume levelling of -17dB though which indicates brickwalling and compression which often kills music for me on the main system.

Playing On Cassette on TDK AD - X C60 - Good movies soundtrack of the classic movie
Now Playing......................
The Chieftains featuring Ry Cooder - San Patricio
Streaming on NAS........... a recent purchase and taking out for a spin. An interesting album (from my perspective) where Paddy Moloney from the Chieftains works with Ry Cooder, Linda Ronstadt and others as he looks into the historical account of the San Patricios, a band of immigrant Irish soldiers who deserted the American Army during the Mexican-American War in 1846 to fight for the other side........ So we have a mix of Mexican music along with Irish music from this time period. An interesting fusion of music recorded in Mexico, Spain, Los Angeles, New York and Dublin.
Now Playing.......
Kandace Springs - Indigo
Streaming on TIDAL........ A mention from BERT SCHURINK above had me place this in the TIDAL Queue for a spin. I have this pre-ordered and awaiting delivery...... as usual, Kandace sounds very, very good!
