I heard 'Camouflage' played on the radio a while back, a song i'd long forgotten and rather liked at the time. Luckily the album has just been re-relased so freshly ripped it's time for a listen.
Woohoohoohoo Camouflage....
Stan Ridgway - The Big Heat
New Order - Power Corruption & Lies. CD rip.
Ispired by KevinW playing this the other day, it reminded me to give it a spin again as I’ve not listened to it for a while. Working late so fits perfectly. Cracking album.
George Cables trio - Dark side, Light side
One of his best, imo.
George Cables - Piano; Jay Anderson - Bass; Billy Hart - Drums
Lizz Wright - The Orchard.......and some bonus tracks!
I love this album and got a very nice surprise listening to it today.
This album has 13 tracks but there is a very long gap between tracks 11 and 12. As I usually let this lovely album wash over me and don't follow track progression, I have always assumed the album finished after track 11.
But today I was reading as track 11 finished and believed the album had finished. What a lovely surprise when two more wonderful tracks played I had never heard before!
It is amazing I have managed to reach the age of 59 with no serious mishaps!
Nice modern jazz trio...

Yep. I've been caught out by that long gap on this album. First time I left the room after track 11, thinking the CD had finished. I was then very perplexed when from elsewhere in the house I could hear music! Took me a while to realise what had happened.
Having ordered another Norah Jones album it prompted me to want to play one. This is very nice.
1975 - vinyl - UK first pressing...
Performers: Jack Lancaster, Robin Lumley, Gary Brooker, Bill Bruford, Phil Collins, Julie Driscoll, Stephane Grappelli, Jon Hiseman, Brian Eno, Alvin Lee, Gary Moore, Cozy Powell, Manfred Mann, Keith Tippett, Viv Stanshall, and the English Chorale.
Jain - Zanaka. CD rip. I’ve played this quite a lot and I’m still finding things to enjoy. It’s a great sounding ripped CD too. Highly reccomended.
Vinyl released 1977 - What a superb debut album. ????
Now Playing........
I'm With Her - See You Around
Aoife O'Donovan, Sarah Jarosz and Sara Watkins
Streaming on TIDAL........... taking this album out for another spin, great voices that harmonize well, a fun listen!
This is such a good album by JJ, one I’ve not played for years. I looked up when it was released, and found it was 1991. 27 years ago, and it seems like only yesterday, yet it’s nearly half my life ago.
Volume 1 - Love Songs from this box set. It is just so intimate.
Playing on Vinyl on JPS records - Fabulous Blues from Chicago's Jimmy Dawkins - An absolute peach of an album

Drive By Truckers - The Dirty South. Some fine Southern rock from the Truckers.
Bugge on a beat, not so my thing..
A Latin version of the Westside Story, interesting enough to give a full listen later...
Now listening to a very nice solo piano album, not Jarrett, but lyrical piano playing...
Released 2006 - Brilliant acoustic blues album.????
