On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.

Not new, but new to me. Very good too.
Staying with the relaxed theme, I've selected this. Always a tonic after a busy or stressful day. Ray L's earlier albums such as this one seem to have better reproduction quality than his recent ones.
Streaming on Tidal, just heard this on the radio tonight and thought I’d check it out, a new group called Szun Waves with a recent release New Hymn to Freedom. A really interesting fusion of jazz and electronic, sounds pretty funky and worth checking out.
Lambchop - Nixon. A loose connection to country / soul, but really quite unique. Just sublime.
Not listened to this for some time , Big mistake as such a wonderful album and great recording .

Stan Ridgway - The Big Heat
Camouflage is on many of my playlists , loved this song (story) since hearing on Top of the Pops way back . A great one for in the car as well .
Dire Straits - Communique.
Elton John - Don't Shoot Me (1973). He was on the top of his game in the early 70's. Very good SQ on this 1973 vinyl release.

Prince - The Truth
Streaming on TIDAL........ A re-release of Prince's 1997 album on August 17, 2018 which has had some resent mentions on this thread. A superb album and enjoy it quite a bit and taking it out for another spin! Also waiting for the arrival of a new album "Prince - Piano & A Microphone 1983" which will be released September 21,2018.

Keb' Mo' - Keep it Simple
Streaming on TIDAL........... going back in time 14 years to the 2004 release of 'Keep it Simple,' a dozen songs highlighting his fine guitar playing along with is fantastic vocals! .......also a great supporting cast including Robert Cray on guitar & vocals, Sam Bush on mandolin, Amy Grant & Vince Gill with backup vocals along with a host of others, this is one fine album.

Streaming on TIDAL.......... placed this album in the TIDAL queue and taking Stephen out for a second spin, a very nice acoustic guitar and vocals works well in the late evening.
