The Rolling Stones - Blue & Lonesome.
Just some old geezers playing R 'n' B, and sounding pretty damn good.
Word is, there may be another "back to basics" album in the pipeline ................ hope so.
This year's limited edition Record Store Day version of Piper in mono. Very nice packaging and pretty decent SQ (a slightly 'modern' presentation, different from the UK 1967 monos I've heard, but they go for very silly money) - certainly much better than the abomination that was the 1997 '30th anniversary' vinyl version, which was quite onbviously sourced from an inferior digital file.

Jagger released a few sneak peeks of him recording some demo material in a living room with recording equipment......so maybe right.

Peter Bernstein - Signs Live
Playing on Cassette on Maxell ULS - C60 - What better way to get the working week over and some weekend leisure time than some Classic ZZ Top From 1976
On vinyl. Why? Because they wuz robbed at the Mercury Prize last night by indie blandsters Wolf Alice:
Wilko Johnson / Roger Daltrey - Going Back Home.
Following "Blue & Lonesome" ^^^^^ just another couple of old geezers showing the youngsters the way home with this album.
I still remember hearing the title track for the first time on the car radio and thinking "I'll be buying that, for sure".
Erm, rather LOUD!
Yello - Pocket Universe. CD rip. Always good to hear a little from Deiter & Boris - and its perfect Friday music! Much as I like the last album (Toy) i've played it a lot so it has become a little familiar, so i'm now raiding the back catalogue again. I'm hoping that they are working on something new.

Not 'arf!
Original 1984 vinyl, randomly picked from the shelves. Rather a 'thin' recording - perhaps that was the thing at the time. Good guitarist though.
Now playing........
Amy Helm - This To Shall Light
Streaming on TIDAL......... a new release from Amy Helm and she is sounding mighty sweet, wonderful vocals, music and lyrics through the first couple of tracks!
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): Víkingur Ólafsson, piano
