Christine and the Queens. Chris.
Yet to try this my other half is a big fan. She looked at me rather strangely when she opened the vinyl edition up last christmas and told me she didn't want vinyll presents anymore. How ungreatful is that!
Listening to Eat a Peach by The Allmann brothers....the album just after Duane died. Melissa is a real sweet track, I think written by a Duane. Bought off the Magpie, my Core struggled to rip the long live track 4. When I was having my demo of the ND555 the Signals boys ripped on the new dedicated £800 Melco ripper for me, and imported on to my Core....nice one????
Probably my favourite PMG album. Love that Roland synth guitar!
(2018) CD Saw this on the forum a while back, don't recall who posted it. First listen. Very enjoyable.
Followed by: of montreal - the sunlandic twins
(2005) CD First heard "wraith pinned to the mist and other games" on local college radio. Good album.
Alex Cornish - "Hang On The Word" (2017) singer/songwriter chamber pop with mostly acoustic guitar, piano, cello, etc backing
Not a Dylan album I play much...Can't understand why. Enjoying this on CD

Peter Gabriel - Shaking the tree: 16 golden greats
Nice compilation os Peter Gabriel songs.
Now Playing..........
Charles Lloyd and the Marvels + Lucinda Williams - Vanished Gardens
Charles Lloyd (saxophone, flute), Bill Frisell (guitar), Greg Leitz (steel guitar), Reuben Rogers (bass), Eric Harland (drums) + Lucinda Williams (vocals).
Streaming on NAS......... Continuing on with Charles Lloyd & the Marvels! I just love the opening track "Defiant" which then leads into a "Dust" with Lucinda Williams, this is a fantastic album! I certainly hope that Charles and the Marvels with some featured guests and pump out another one of these marvelous albums again soon.......
John Mellencamp - "Sad Clowns & Hillbillies" (2017) should already be in your collection.
As it says on the cover

I think I'll have to find another PMG album then!
Rodney Crowell - "Close Ties" (2017) one of the masters of Nashville, for me, the piece below is absolute musical perfection
I'm not playing this currently, but in light of the above information, this could be my new favourite PMG album!
After enjoying Billy Gibbons new album it's back to the beginning. On CD, ZZ Tops First Album
Ry Cooder - Crossroads Motion Picture Soundtrack.
A masterclass in blues from Señor Cooder, just a shame that Stevie Vai's record company decided not to play nice, which means
that the famous guitar duel from the movie isn't included.
Still a great album though, and highly recommended.
Now Playing.........
T-Bone Burnett - The Criminal Under My Own Hat
Streaming on NAS.......... spending some time with T-Bone this Saturday morning, some fine vocals, lyrics and beat to get the feet moving before I head out the door to run some errands.....
Enjoyed this one this morning !
Bob Dylan - "MTV Unplugged" (1995)
Muddy Walters - Folk Singer - Analogue Productions vinyl remaster of Chess Records masterpiece
A very, very special pressing if you want to let your vinyl system really shine and you like the blues then treat yourself to a copy.
Villagers - The Art of Pretending to Swim
I just heard part of the title track being played on 'J to Z' on BBC R3 so felt the need to hear the whole album. This is not one which gets many outings here, tending instead to go for his output after 1969. This will need to be rectified.
