Robert Plant - Carry Fire.
I had a flurry of playing this album endlessly when I first bought it, but haven't listened for a while, so I thought, why not?
The Sensational Space Shifters are in their usual fine form, and there's even a duet with Percy and Chrissie Hynde .............
............... what's not to like?

Chet Baker (t), Luca Flores (p), Nicola Stilo (fl), Marc Abrams (b)
Vinyl - absolutely superb - Chet Baker is in great form, really sadly he died less than a month after this recording was made aged 58 ?!
Must listen to 'If I should lose you again' !

Ralph Alessi - Jazzklubb Fashing
Checking out the latest release on the livejazzlounge site.
Ralph Alessi: trumpet
Ravi Coltrane: tenor sax
Andy Milne: piano
John Hébert: bass
Mark Ferber: drums

Robert Plant - Band of Joy.
Seems like there's no escaping Percy, this evening. ^^^^^
This time round, Buddy Miller both produced and put together the "Band of Joy", with some stellar musicians.
This album?
Joy, indeed.
Enrico Pierannunzi & Thomas Fonnesbeak - Blue Waltz
Enrico Pierannunzi (piano) - Thomas Fonnesbeak (bass)

Chris Isaak - Wicked Game
After work, with a cold one.
One of those one that got away in 1979.

Phil Chevron then went on to the Pogues and the Radiators became the band that could have been.

One of my favourite Mary Black CDs. When I play it I'm also reminded that of the many hundreds of CDs I've bought, this was the only one that has ever suffered CD-rot, necessitating the buying of another. Maybe I'm lucky in experiencing this phenomenon so very rarely.

(2010)
The God Particle
Just back home so a little Shpongle while I decide what to play and cook.

That's a really nice album which brings back a lot of Mexican memories in particular, I must try to give it a play at the weekend.
