The more I listen to this, the more I am liking it. Not one filler track on here. Lovely voice and good songs.
Just snapped up the CD from the river at a rather reasonable price but a bit of a wait for delivery.
Downloaded this album last week superb indeed must look for more of her albums.
First time I've played this since her second album, Indigo, came out. The latter I had on the day of release and have played it several times since. It's nice. But...........going back to this one..........well, this evening I'm reminded why I used to listen to it so often.
George Michael - Symphonica, the only live album of his career.
Cool album...

Buddy Holly and The Crickets - The Very Best Of, a brilliant 36 track compilation.

Hi Ian, not that high actually, this one, Hold on 2 Dub (Runn Records), is much better, check it out but I'm sure you already know it;
Let's Eat Grandma were in confident and assured form last night at Heaven, Charing Cross. Rosa & Jenny's voices were the best I've heard from them (5 gigs) , helped by an excellent sound system. Their songs are gaining some added 'steel' and 'improv', which is a nice development. An audience of young and OLD were treated to an excellent pop band who are creating 'their' sound which makes seeing them such a treat. I see a parallel with Rae Morris on how she developed. With David Wrench in the production wings, things are looking good.
Norwegian Jazz artist Jacob Young, Evening falls. Excellent album on ECM from 2004, streaming on tidal.
Now Playing.................
Paul Motian Band - Garden of Eden
Paul Motian (drums), Chris Cheek (saxophone), Tony Malaby (tenor saxophone), Steve Cardenas (guitar), Ben Monder (guitar), Jakob Bro (guitar) and Jerome Harris (bass).
Streaming on NAS.......... A fantastic album to kick off Friday evening, upbeat and swinging tempo to get the blood flowing and feet moving! They are sounding mighty sweet!
