On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Jimi Hendrix - Blues.
Does what it says on the tin .............. Jimi does the blooze, as only he can.
I know that I've posted this one here recently, but if any fans of Jimi haven't yet given it a listen, it's there on Tidal, so do it now,
you won't be disappointed, guaranteed!
Playing on Vinyl on New Rose Records - Garage Psychedelia from American band Plan Nine from 1984

Not that 'Our Dave' needs any support on the forum but yes this is a very fine album.

A wee nudge from Stevee_S ^^^^^^^ prompted me to dig this one out .............. high drama from Mr. Gabriel, and, quite LOUD!!!
Checking how it matches up...
Tidal. Carmen Gomes - Carmen Gomes Sings
Joel Levi - Joel Levi
Hanging onto Ewemon's shirt tails again, but he did say this is an artist to watch IIRC.
Well I have been listening to this quite a bit and guess what......the Ewemon is absolutely right, as usual.
A superb talent and a wonderful album.
Now Playing........
Prince - Piano & A Microphone 1983
Streaming on NAS........... recent release and acquisition and taking out for another spin, enjoyable album with Prince going solo and exploring songs, very different and very entertaining and would have loved to sit in the back of the room and watch him work.

My first play of this interesting compilation album & exclusive to vinyl, released yesterday
Marty Balin 1942-2018 (Jefferson Airplane) R.I.P.
Debs
The Barr Brothers - The Barr Brothers
This is what I love about the Music Room. You discover bands you have never heard of, and, hey presto, they become firm favourites!
What a wonderful place this is, if you love music.
A cover album of Bill Withers songs.
