On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Now Playing.......
Amy Wadge - Amy Wadge
Streaming on TIDAL........ A recent mention that I took a for spin and enjoyed, now giving Amy a second listen. Wonder vocals, lyrics, and music! Worth the time to give a listen.........

The Low Anthem - The Salt Doll Went To Measure The Depth Of The Sea. For me, this is a big improvement on their last album, Eyeland.
Duke Jordan Trio - Two Loves - Steeplechase SCS-1024 Danish 1ST Press 1974
Another excellent release and pressing from Danish jazz specialists Steeplechase Records.
Some great musicianship on this record apart from Duke Jordan on piano Ed Thigpen's drumming is exceptional and the young Danish bass player Mads Vinding is no slouch either.
Lucinda Williams - Down where the spirit meets the bone
CD2. CD1 was yesterday. What a voice, what songs.
Wayne Shorter - Speak no evil
I'm making this a 'Wayne Shorter' night!
- Bass – Ron Carter
- Drums – Elvin Jones
- Piano – Herbie Hancock
- Tenor Saxophone – Wayne Shorter
- Trumpet – Freddie Hubbard
Ancient Atlantic vinyl plate
Why? Fancied a post-dinner swing. Goes well with the Argentinian Malbec...

Edited for stupidity.
Wayne Shorter - Juju. I find this more accessible than All Seeing Eye (above), but to me it seems quite dark and brooding. Brilliant experimental jazz.

Yes, dug this one out this afternoon along with an old Akai player. Still sounds great despite a little deterioration but who cares.
Chet Baker Quartet featuring Phil Markowitz - Live at Nick's - Dutch 1st Press on Criss Cross Records Criss 1027. 1978
Recorded live at Nick Vollebregt's Jazz cafe, Laren, Holland.
Exceptional again from Chet just listening to his rendition of Wayne Shorter's -Beautiful Black Eyes on Side B.
A fantastic recording and pressing.

A good album. Her debut album, I believe. I wonder what happened to her? I can't remember a follow-up.
Absolutely delicious.
