Absolutely delicious.
Yep. Think i'll join you with this one. Delicious sums it up nicely.
Is this the most referenced album on this thread and its predecessors?
Listened to this to see what all the fuss was about and have to say I was a bit underwhelmed
It would be a very weird world if we all liked the same things!
Playing on Original Cassette - Always like hearing this U2 album
Heather Small , what a voice enjoyed this one so much just ordered a solo CD of hers off of the Bay.
Playing on Compact Disc - Nice enough Clapton album from 1977
Art Blakey - Moanin'. I assume this was Blakey's most commercially successful album. The title track has to be one of the most recognisable tunes of the genre. Blues meets hard bop and delivers a gem. A nice easy, but interesting lunchtime listen.
I thought time for another play superb listen and very nice to look at on the ND555 screen Willie Nelson next so I will probably switch the screen off !!
Now Playing........
Elina Duni - Partir
Elina Duni (voice, piano, guitar, percussion)
Streaming on NAS.......... Waking up with Elina, a beautiful voice and music and a fantastic way to start this Monday morning!
V.S.O.P. - The quintet
Great live recording (from 1976) by top jazz musicians.
- Herbie Hancock - Piano
- Freddie Hubbard - Trumpet
- Wayne Shorter - Sax
- Ron Carter - Bass
- Tony Williams - Drums
I bought this album again a while back after hearing 'Find my love' on the radio. I wasn't too impressed when I had this on vinyl first time round but second time around (and a good few years later...) it's hitting the spot. A lovely voice and a rather fine album too.
Fairground Attraction - The first of a million kisses
As only Roon can do, i got here from looking for Hot Chocolates version of Give Peace a chance “

It’s the negative image of the front of Led Zeppelin’s untitled fourth album. The negative was used on the last round of remasters. Now surely you’ve heard that, Nigel.
Amy Wadge - Amy Wadge
While patiently waiting for the CD of this to turn up, I am having another listen to it on Tidal.
It really is a very fine album and somewhat infectious.
I like this young lady's work, very much.
Ah, it did look familiar. But it’s a bit poncy to post an alternative image and not even add the title, don’t you think.
