A nice production in quality terms but the content leaves me a little unmoved if I say so myself, yawn - lives up to it's title I guess.
Plaing on Compact Disc on Naxos - A pleasant enough Saint Saens Compilation
Remember listening to this on the BEEB one Sat night whilst working.
Also saw them during the tour and was left unimpressed as I had loved the original version of the first (there was 2 versions)

Streaming on NAS............ Beginning the day with Charles and the beautiful album 'The Water is Wide.' A long and great career and each time I play one of his albums I feel I can say it is one of his best. The Water is Wide is working its magic this morning!
