Charles Lloyd - Sangam
Charles Lloyd (saxophone, tarogato, flute, piano, percussion), Zakir Hussain (tabla, percussion) and Eric Harland (drums, percussion, piano).
Streaming on NAS.............. continuing on with Charles this morning, he is lifting the spirit and broadening the smile, a truly magical musician who always brings the elixir to brighten up the day!
The Who - Who's Next, playing the first disc ,which features 6 bonus tracks from the albums original but abandoned New York sessions.The second disc incidentally is a concert recorded at London's Young Vic theatre featuring material from the Lighthouse project.
The Rolling Stones - Some Girls.
Sometimes, there's just no escaping The Rolling Stones ^^^^^^^ usually because the opening track on each of their albums just grabs
your attention, and "Miss You" is no exception, marking, as it does, the onset of The Stones "disco" adventure.
The rest of the album ain't too shabby, either.

U2 - The Best Of 1980 - 90, just fancied some early stuff.

Seem to be trapped in a Stones groove, this afternoon ............ still, this one is a classic .............. from the mono boxset, and sounding
just the way it was meant to ............. Dansette Days are here again.

Van the Man's original album, plus a heap of unreleased recordings, some of which are better than the released versions, IMHO.

2nd listen to this tour de force of country rock/Americana, committed lyrics sung with passion and played powerfully, fantastic album, thanks again Ewemon.
