On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Free - Live!
Catching up on a backlog of CD ripping, as my HDX returned home today, fully re-Naimed, and this version of the album,
with extra tracks, is well worth getting hold of, even if you already have the original.
The track "Moonshine" is, as they say, "worth the price of admission alone".
It's there on Tidal, so I urge any Free fans to have a listen.
One of the best bands I ever saw live and also one of the worst. Go figure.
Possibly my fav band of all time. I must have played this album thousands of times over the years.
She doesn’t do the dreamy Noctures, but does interesting phrasing etc..., I have to listen this another time...
Camerata trio - Bach: Goldberg variations
Bach's Goldberg variations wonderfully played by the Camerata string trio.
Annebeth Webb (violin), Jeroen Woudstra (viola) and Honorine Schaeffer (violoncello).

Guitar Slinger - CD Rip
This was another great recommendation from Ewemon, Vince was a new artist to me at the time, great album.

If you like Vince i am sure you will like this album.

Bach’s suites for unaccompanied cello, transcribed for viola and played by the always wonderful Kim Kashkashian, on a new release from ECM.

Thanks , I have several of his albums and really enjoy his music this one is winging it’s way from Germany should be here next week.
Sounding superb on my Cd5si - Hi-Line - NAIT 5si and Neat Motive SX2 speakers - urging me to keep cranking that volume as each track rolls out. A great Compo here.
Massive Attack - Protection
A low groove to get the day going.
UK first press vinyl. Really enjoyed listening to this compilation of the Foxx era, so out it comes again...
Yes - Relayer 24/96
Playing on 180 g Vinyl on Sundazed Records - Fabulous Byrds compilation of rarities and out takes
Another great Compo - See You - being favourite track, the resolution and dynamics are simply stunning.
Not their best album by any means, and there's no Alan Rankine... but hell, Billy Mackenzie's still there. UK first press vinyl.
Playing on Compact Disc - Very robust debut album from Leicester's Kasabian
Just got this through the post, an oldie but still great 80s electronic music and I can't wait to give it a spin.
Wynton Kelly trio - Full view
Impressionism with Joni.
It's hard to believe that this album was released 38 years ago! I recall seeing a broadcast of the concert. Was it the whole film or just a song or two on the OGWT? I cannot remember exactly, but I was hooked and have been ever since. There is so much feeling here. All the musicians seemed to give their best and more - a firm favourite album for me.
Impressionism definitely. Joni paints pictures with her songs, better than anyone, at least the equal of Dylan
Playing on Vinyl - Great mixed album by Drum and Bass Godfather Goldie. Featuring artists on his Metalheadz Label
Now Playing...........
Ry Cooder - The Prodigal Son
Streaming on NAS......... a mention from ALANP prompted me to take this fantastic album out for another spin! Helping wake up this sleepy head this Friday morning...........
Giving this a whirl, another great Compo through the post today. I can't seem to stop buying music at the minute and being a real sucker for Compilations at the moment, Good 'O' is what I say

Love the bonus tracks, but prefer the sound quality of the 2016 Remaster. Solution - buy both!
