On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Lonnie Holley, Mith. Was introduced to this chap recently, originally a sculptor and turned to music in 2012, eclectic to say the least and quite hard to describe but check him out for yourself, I’ve got quite in to his music of late - it’s really rather good. Streaming on Tidal.
Playing on Cassette on TDK SA - X C90 - The first album I enjoyed a lot so what better way to get all Latin than this compilation album while the Sunday roast cooks in the oven

If you like this one try his first album as it is considered a classic of the genre.

- Donald Edwards – Drums
- Orrin Evans – Piano
- Greg Hesselink - Cello
- Russell Malone – Guitar (2,8)
- Wynton Marsalis – Trumpet (1,5)
- Marcus Strickland – Soprano Saxophone (11,12)
- Ben Wolfe – Bass
Hybrid SACD
Nice listening day so far, started with this nice ambient release...
Then continued with another one which I bought yesterday
Then digging a bit further into King Crimson, a very nice version of David Bowie’s heroes...
One of these interesting live recordings, I think you can have hours and hours of Live music from the guys...
This album, which I a, currently listening shows how two master musicians are more then enough to keep you fully emerged into the music...
CD 2009
Sorry I didn't get to see the wonderfully brilliant unique David Byrne last night in Leeds. So this excellent comp will have to do.
2004 (CD
Did anyone ever catch the documentary where David Byrne composed a symphony I think well a body of music of some sort using a derelict building as an instrument it's pipes, radiators etc were used to create sounds it was absolutely fascinating.
John Scofield ‘Bump’...What hooks!

Wow he is pretty good, the slight hint of a french accent helps make him sound like Greenie.

- Bass – Paul Chambers
- Drums – Charlie Persip
- Piano – Horace Silver
- Tenor Saxophone – Hank Mobley

On an Aussie Raven CD from the early 90s, I think. Just as important as Nancy is the name missing from the cover - the god-like genius that is (or was) Lee Hazelwood. He wrote and produced most of this, and duetted on a number of songs.
Playing on Compact Disc - Fancied some prog and reached for this bootleg from Genesis's 1978 world tour recorded at Madison Square Gardens New York City - Sound is good and Peter Gabriel makes a guest appearance for the encore of I know what I like - Posted the back cover as well so you prog lovers can see the set list
