Fred Simon (piano), Paul McCandless (soprano saxophone, oboe, English horn, bass clarinet, duduk), Steve Rodby (acoustic bass), and Mark Walker (drums, percussion).
Streaming on NAS.............. closed out yesterday with Fred Simon and now opening today with him and is a lovely way to start the week!
Also a trumpet jazz album and also nice...

My latest purchase of Norah Jones' work. Only 30mins long but a nice way to spend half-an-hour.

Lyle Lovett - Release Me
Streaming on TIDAL......... I saw an earlier mention from EWEMON above for Lyle's 'Pontiac' album so I thought I would take out one of Lyle's albums that I have not heard before, so taking 'Release Me' out for a spin......
Jamie is one of these very talented persons in jazz, keep an eye on him....., great album....

Rorys death still makes me sad.What a talent he was and such a nice guy from what I have seen and read about him.Here is a video that always amazes me for talent ....Rory at the Marquee in London doing I could have had Religion (you where probably there ).....Rory was just 24......playing with the confidence of someone way older.....genius

This one from Hall & Oates passed me by at the time, my first listen after having ripped the new arrival this morning and it has those hooks and catchiness of their earlier albums, more 'poppy' than I normally like but enjoying this first run through very much...
