One of George Harrison’s close friends, always remember “see you in my dreams” for Georges induction to the Rock,n,roll hall of fame. Not a dry eye in the house.

I actually loved the synths on Overture running into 'Shooting Star' on the eponymous first album in the 70's which I had on cassette. Strongly suspect Thereza Bazar's voice enticed me as a youngster.
The missus is enjoying it anyway....I think....
Before having a bit of a resurgence on the minor celebrity circuit David Van Day had a posh burger van in Churchill Square Brighton where after gaining a little bit too much weight he could still be seen pouting over the hot dogs.
Huw Warren: Barrel Organ Far from Home. Hard to describe so, from AZ:
The line-up features Steve Argüelles on drums, sax and flute by Steve Buckley, Ben Davis on cello, Maria Lamburn on viola, Mark Lockheart on soprano and tenor sax, Dudley Philips on bass, Sonia Slany on violin and Pete Whyman on C clarinet. They use both the sound of a more 'classically'-oriented group, by including violin and cello, and combining it with some of the riskiness and improvisation from a jazz line-up, such as saxophone, bass and drums. It integrates Warren's work with folk, classical and jazz genres.
It has what I hope is a genuine 1* review on AZ:
I wanted Barrel Organ Music, and looking at the cover of this, you can understand why I sent for it. I didn't hear a single note from a barrel organ just Avante Garde crap.

Rorys death still makes me sad. What a talent he was and such a nice guy from what I have seen and read about him. Here is a video that always amazes me for talent ....Rory at the Marquee in London doing I could have had Religion (you where probably there ).....Rory was just 24......playing with the confidence of someone way older.....genius
Thanks for sharing this TC. He's still my favourite live performer. Never seen anything to compare since.
Was lucky enough to have seen him in Taste and as a solo act a number of times. Also had the pleasure of meeting him and having a drink or two or three. Really nice guy and a fabulous guitarist who could literally set a place on fire with the energy from his show.
Listening to “Tapestry” by Carol King....this masterpiece having its first outing on the ND555, sounding wonderful, particularly the voice and bass lines.
Playing on Cassette on Maxell ul-s C60 - Really nice debut album by English guitarist Gordon Giltap from 1976 - A good mixture of acoustic and progressive work outs
