On CD, because I wanted to listen to something majestic, which Duke's orchestra in full flow always is.

On CD. I haven't heard this in absolutely ages - it was quite the thing to be playing back in 1990. Sill sounds very good.

The Very Best of Andy Fairweather Low - Tidal

Off to see him in Bury tonight, and I thought I’d better have a listen. It’s very well made pop-rock, looking forward to an evening of songs I haven’t heard for decades.

If you get the chance to see (& hear) him live, & more so if you have an idea how to play guitar, then he really is serious bonkers good, what he can do with six strings & a wooden box makes my head spin.

Yup, discouragingly good for those of us lesser mortals with aspirations!

Released 1998 - From beautiful to funky, percussive to melodic, improvisational to tightly arranged, Hancock and cohorts take a wondrous journey through the music and world of Gershwin. Great album ????

Not a stressful day compared to those that are not retired, but was in the thick of it with the chainsaw today ......Cara is new to me, the vocals are lovely. Will investigate further.

Anything you say Gazza, now put the chainsaw down.

BTW, my favourite Cara Dillon album is her latest, Wanderer, so I suggest you include a listen to this in your investigation.
