What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Seth Lakeman: The Well Worn Path.
Playing for the first time, very impressed. He’s turned the clock back 15 years and gone back to plain, unadorned folk in Punch Bowl and Kitty Jay style. Highly recommended to folk lovers.

Playing on Vinyl - Very nice progressive folk from Renaissance from 1973 - Their first album to feature an orchestra.
A serenade from above...
Now with this delicate playing...
UNKLE - Where Did The Night Fall/ Another Night Out
(1973)
Abandoned Luncheonette
I was playing some Hall & Oates the other evening when Ewemon reminded me of this fine early album of theirs, duly noted it's now getting a play, good stuff!
Freshly ripped 2nd hand CD. Sounds pretty flat which is a shame
First listen of new rip
Now playing..........
Jakob Bro - Streams
Jakob Bro (guitar), Thomas Morgan (double bass) and Joey Baron (drums).
Streaming on NAS........... after a sleep-in this morning, I am kicking off the day with Jakob, Thomas, and Joey! Looking forward to seeing them play this evening! Love this album........
George Benson - Livin' Inside Your Love
I am guilty of playing this way too often in the past and, as a consequence, tired of our George and haven't listened to it for ages.
Well I stuck on today and was reminded what a wonderful album this is.
He finishes this set with his wonderful version of Unchained Melody, and that really got to me. Just lovely.
(1993)
Soul Alone
Twenty years on from Hall & Oates Abandoned Luncheonette Daryl Hall released his third solo album to some mixed reviews, I liked it a lot so on it goes for what is a fairly rare outing nowadays.

Yep superb, Nigel.
Brad Mehldau & Charlie Haden - Long ago and far away
Playing on Vinyl - Very nice album from 1969 from AL Green
CD. Antonio Vivaldi - The Four Seasons - Recomposed By Max Richter
Playing on Vinyl - A good fix of psychedelia from Love from 1966 - Forever Changes is classic but Da Capo is very good.

Original vinyl released 1969 - Superb debut album, superb band. ????
I have a very old original pressing of this and it has sounded better and better as I improved the LP12 -- absolutely fantastic album. I abused it a bit when I was at University -- so bought a more recent pressing -- which unfortunately was nowhere near as good as my original -- I think its the same pressing as you have Dan but i'll check...
