Blood On The Tracks - 24/96
My favourite Dylan album.
Really looking forward to “More Blood, More Tracks: The Bootleg Series Vol. 14”, especially the Complete “New York sessions”, hope they are as good as I have read on this forum in the past.
Edward
IMHO opinion they are as I have been listening to them for years.
Are you getting the 6 disc set as for the first time in the Bootleg series he is only issuing a single cd as the alternative?
Yes it is the six disc set.
Edward
An absolute stone classic album of Appalachian folk music.
The girls have only released 2 albums since I think the mid 50's and both are fantastic

Think you may enjoy it.
Hank Mobley - Hank Mobley quartet.
This debut of Mobley on Blue Note with Horace Silver on piano and Doug Watkins on bass and Art Blakey on drums.
A new name to me and her debut album featuring the early music of Barbra Streisand. It’s really rather good.
Prompted by a recent posting of this album. As I said at the time, I think this is Tori's best.
Frank Sinatra
In the Wee Small Hours - Tidal HiFi
On the way home I had to change train at Partic Railway station in Glasgow, I stopped to get some lunch in a tea room an they were playing one of Franks albums in the background, it has been a while since I last listen to any of Franks music so pick this one at random.

New Favorite
You really can't beat some Alison Krauss when you're in the mood for some wonderful female vocals and this is yet another great album of hers with the wonderful Union Station (these boys really know how to pick and play it!!)
Released 2002 - Finely crated songs tinged with jazz & blues, makes this a fine listen. ????
Picked this one from 100+ Chet Baker albums - good choice !!!
My favourite Free album. I still treasure the memory of seeing the band perform this album live. A long time ago now.

Tony Studd - bass trombone
Patti Bown - piano

Recorded By – Van Gelder
Trombone – Jimmy Cleveland
For me a great album...while not as good as the first one..
Jimmy Smith - The Cat, released in '64 big band arrangements from Lalo Schifrin accompany the Hammond maestro .The brass section is prominent and very dynamic.Great record.
The Mekons - Fear and Whiskey - WAV CD rip
Raucous punk-country album. Lyrically covering Cold War angst, booze, failed love, it’s shambolic, they were undoubtedly hammered when they recorded the cover of Lost Highway, but the songs are driven by a great rhythm section, strong musicianship, chaotic but compelling vocals, the album is a great listen, and in Last Dance has a genuinely great lost-love song.

Hopefully my CD should be here this week I have played it on Tidal and found it very enjoyable and quite different from her first album.
Thought I'd stay with jazz to end the evening's session and play Dexter Gordon - Go.
Now Playing.................
Trygve Seim - Helsinki Songs
Trygve Seim (tenor saxophone, soprano saxophone), Kristjan Randalu (piano), Mats Eilertsen (double bass) and Markku Ounaskari (drums).
Streaming on NAS........... a recent arrival and taking out for a spin. I had listened to this album a couple of times on TIDAL and enjoyed it enough to order a copy. A wonderful quartet and music is sweet!
