What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Playing on Vinyl on Ace Records - Great early blues from Smokey Babe
(2018)
Dynamite
A great half an hour has just been spent kicking off the weekend with Ese & The Vooduu People which is a good mix of some of their live and studio tracks.
Bob Dylan: More Blood, More Tracks: The Bootleg Series Volume 14 on vinyl.
I am absolutely taken by this album, it has really delighted and moved me.
It is everything Dylan can be and I recommend it to all.
It could well be the best LP I have bought for years!
Dylan’s presentation is so personnel and close. The production is simple and like Dylan is singing to you right there in front of you. There is no one, in my view, who can write lyrics and present a story like this.
From a hi-fi perspective the vinyl is flat, quite and overall sound beautiful.
What more can I say except if you have a spare £20 (or less) buy this double LP,
Regards,
Richard
Enrico Pieranunzi - Live in Japan
Great modern piano trio jazz.
Enrico Pieraninzi - piano; Marc Johnson - Bass; Joey Baron - drums
(2018)
Bjorn Riis - Coming Home
Airbag's frontman getting all stripped back and minimalist on this EP, it's not my favourite from him but still worth a listen now and again. His debut solo album set such a high bar and I guess being 'progressive' he won't want to go back over old ground, no matter how fine it was.
Blackfield.
I am enjoying this first outing of Steven Wilson and Aviv Geffen as Blackfiled. This, for me is a cracking bit of art, pop/rock.

Steve, I agree, Lullabies is a fantastic album and a hard one to follow. I think I'll cue it up now
Rosanne Cash - "She Remembers Everything" (2018)
(2014)
Bjorn Riis - Lullabies in a Car Crash
It was probably inevitable that I'd end up playing his debut (solo) album, fine stuff and unmistakably from the man who is Airbag's heartbeat.
Vinyl released 2015 - A nicely crafted album. ????
Aapo Heinonen quintet.
Nice jazz from Finland.
Yet another Compo but very enjoyable nevertheless.
Album of highly synthetic covers of hits from the 1960s-80s. On CD:
For example:
Bon Iver - 22, A Million. An album with a lot of electronics and auto tune which gives it an odd sound, but underneath the cacophony there are some lovely melodies at work.
Having a nostalgic evening... From when I was just a kid down at the Lyceum, I loved it all...
As I am unable to post pics from an iPhone!
the new neneh cherry album, first listen and it’s stripped back and the better for it.
Liz vice, there a light. Wonderful album

It's Friday night and I'm in the mood for something which needs to be played LOUD and this is on the LP12 in all it's massively-produced 80's glory:
Richard Thompson - "13 Rivers" (2018) Excellent album.
Cliff Richard and The Shadows - Thank You Very Much, a reunion concert from '78, recorded at The London Palladium.A set from Cliff and the boys, a set from The Shads and then Cliff and his then current band.I am sure the "banter" is all scripted and the music is tame by today's standards ,but its fun
Enjoying Argus this evening. If Ash has produced a better album than this I'd be grateful if somebody could draw it to my attention.

Mike seeing the Argus cover made me remember the first and only time I saw them.It was around 1980 at Brighton Dome. The opening track was The King Will Come and I was blown away by the guitar sound.I think the guitarist was playing a flying V.
Great gig and next day got Argus as I hadn't heard any of their stuff,Yeah Argus is a great album and has a great deal of atmosphere on tracks like Lay down the sword.
Wishing you a fine weekend......can't see Southampton getting anything with us on Sunday....but miracles do happen..
Playing on Vinyl - Enjoying this solo album by Tangerine Dream's Edgar Froese
