This morning's latest arrival, now ripped and streaming ............... on first listen, quite taken with this, a beautiful, soulful voice.
Another great shout from this forum ............... thanks, chaps.

I was listening to this earlier via Tidal.
Fantastic voice and for me there isn't a bad track on the album.
Dave, did you manage to buy a copy from the UK? I'm struggling to find the CD.
ATB,
Mike
Using Asset's Dynamic Browsing/Track Jukebox functions to explore the dustier corners of my music collection. Its throwing up some interesting combinations such as Souxie's "Cocoon" followed by Pat Travers' "Statesboro Blues"

Hi Mike,
Yes I ordered it on Amazon, from one of their third party sellers .............. at just over six squid, and brand new.
It's available via The River, but at a higher price.

No, I only have The Queen is Dead on vinyl, but I am sorely tempted to get the three CD remaster.
It seems there are quite a few Zeppelin fans on this forum. I'm not a big fan but I do have a couple of their well known albums on vinyl. I also have this Remasters compilation on CD and thought I would give it a spin after seeing a podcast ( or something similar) on the internet in praise of the drumming of John Bonham.
Inspirational...
"In My Life"
"Strawberry Fields Forever"
Sublime. Tidal stream.

Late evening listening here in Beijing. Mercy, mercy me, where did all the blue skies go.
Moved on to this from the Complete Duets (Marvin Gaye + Tammi Terrell)...24.........
All that remains is to finish off the wine, take the dog out for a quick walk, end of another day.
The perfect album for a nicely chilled Saturday afternoon (moving onto LC after this - thanks Graeme)
Beth Orton - Central Reservation
Jenny Hietbrink.
Energizer, before venturing outdoors to work in the yard:
Roxy Music - Avalon.
Busy old afternoon here at Chez Dave, so time to relax in a comfy chair with a drop of single malt, and there's nothing finer than this
album from the kings of smooth ................. aah, that's much betterer!

She is the niece of the Human Resources person who supports my team at work, Her aunt sent me a link to her on YouTube a couple of weeks ago, I liked it enough to download that album. I really like it, classy trad folk, good songs, sung with feeling, I’ll be interested to hear what you think.
l enjoyed the first listen very much. Will definitely be listening more.
re: Will Hoge - My favorite of the ones l have heard is "The Wreckage".
Good listening, Jeff A
