Ken, her "Tigerlily" album is recommended.
Cheers, Alan. Think I'll get that. I haven't got any of her albums.

That's a crazy price. I ordered a used CD earlier via Amazon at a cost inc postage of £2.68!

Oh dear, what have we started?
BBCSO/Tippett - Tippett Symphony No. 2, WAV CD rip
Tippett conducting the BBCSO around his 90th Birthday if I remember right, his second SYmphony is still in fairly traditional form, some challenging rhythms, but a piece which is upbreat and happy, well played by the Beeb here.
Earlier this evening a quite sophisticated trio jazz album, but rewarding...
One of these great classics...
Roxy Music - For Your Pleasure.
Brian Eno's last hurrah with Roxy ............ what a superlative album.
Amy Winehouse - Frank.

£2.68? Bloody hell, it’s just cost me £3.68. What a rip off.

I am now totally cross-eyed following the Natalie saga! It is like being sucked into a vortex.
Vladimir Horowitz - Mozart, Schubert and Liszt - WAV CD rip.
From the DG recordings box set, lovely classical and romantic, tender and beautiful music, with Lisztian flair to end the album. Horowitz is a master, such profound interpretations.

I heard this album a long time ago at Tower Records at Piccadilly Circus -- at that time -- I didn't know BBOA at all, so I asked the assistant "what' that record playing?". It goes without saying that I bought it st. away....
Great album, sung with 'spirit' (!)
enjoy/ken...
Yazz - The Greatest Hits
Van Morrison - Beautiful Vision.
Primal Scream: Riot City Blues: 1st pressing vinyl
I recall buying this in 2006 and being severely underwhelmed. I think I have played it once since then. Today, however, it's sounding pretty groovy. Perhaps it was the rather too conscious musical paean to psychedelia which got to me. Now, it feels more experimental, vital and earthy, and because of it's under-production, more authentically PS.
An album that came out in 96 and was totally ignored by the buying public. Shame it is a really good blues rock album

Santana - IV, didn't really expect this to live up to the hype of it being the missing link between III and Caravanserai.Giving it another spin after feeling lukewarm the first couple of plays, really enjoying the instrumental "Fillmore East".
Was really disappointed in it. Missed opportunity.
