On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
I haven't played any Steven Wilson for ages. I find I have to be in the right mood to enjoy his music. On CD The Raven That Refused To Sing.
My fav Ronnie Earl set. Think he hit the ball way out of the park on this one.

This is rather wonderful and the recording is superb, even listening on Tidal.
Just picked up this CD and another of Vienna's, pre loved, for very little money on....well....you know where.
(1984)
Chicago 17
One of America's most prolific and relentless soft rock hit makers for a couple of decades. This one from the eighties had a number of fine pop tracks on it.
Call me a new age hippy if you like...
Released 2012 - Norma Deloris Egstrom—A Tribute To Peggy Lee is a welcome reminder of Lee's talents as a singer and composer. It's also a shows Pilnäs' own talent: she's an excellent interpreter of these classic songs and has created a fine tribute to Lee. ????

You new age hippy!
One to watch for those fans of bluegrass.
The above ep came out last year but don't think it does her work justice so watch the video.
Notice the Sabbath album covers in the background.

Amy Winehouse - Frank.
Have a very big soft spot for this young lady she opened up her heart to us all and was treated despicably mostly by the press of course but also by some of the general public. There are many musicians who left us way too early but the loss of Amy always makes me feel really, really sad and angry as it seems so unecessary given the right shoulder to cry on she could still be with us.
I agree, pure raw talent...

I'd say i'm not really a Police fan but this does sound rather good on my CD5si with plenty of slam - seems a good workout for my system with a crisp and punchy percussion throughout.
You can't call me a new age hippy now [@mention:6917038660692026] - on SACD (two-channel DSD straight to analogue):

Banco de Gaia - Maya
One of my favourites from Toby Marks, nearly twenty five years on this album still hits the spot. Great electronic vibes to chill out with.

You say that like it’s a bad thing.
Bob Dylan - Blood on the Tracks, 1975 Canadian vinyl, not 1st release
Like many people, listening to this before putting on the Bootleg Tapes release. What an album, songs of loss and broken love, musically and lyrically sublime.

Ah, that’s the nicest thing anyone has ever said to me. Are you flirting with me, Kev?
Vinyl
Why? Fancied some Miles as a rounding out of a few days off. Back to the ol' 8-4 tomorrow...

Danielle Nicole - Cry No More
Gosh, this gal can certainly belt out a choon. Tight band backing her too.
She needs a new pair of jeans, mind.
Original vinyl released 1979 - panned by the critics???? on release. I think it’s great. ????
