What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
With all the talk on this thread about the More Blood More Tracks album, I thought I would dig out the original album I have on vinyl. To be honest, I haven't listened to this that much - most of my favourite Dylan albums are later period albums such as Time Out of Mind, Love and Theft and Modern Times. Some of his earlier work I have found more challenging to listen to. Anyway, I'm giving this another go.
I bought a few Aimee Mann albums after hearing this one but they've not grabbed me (yet) like this one has.
Aimee Mann - Mental Illness
Earlier this morning -
CD, 2012
Aoife O'Donovan - Fossils
CD, 2013
Now -
CD, 2006. Aoife O'Donovan's former band
Mike + the Mechanics - Living years
Sunday morning sublime.
Now playing...............
Madeleine Peyroux - Half The Perfect World
Streaming on NAS............. picked up yesterday and now taking out for a spin......
Ok, so seasonally it's the time for the colours of autumn, but this is just such a lovely album to play on this bright, sunny autumn day.
Best enjoyed as the start of a listen to the final 3 albums, it's a great musical journey.
Talk Talk - The Colour Of Spring

A fantastic album - such a great voice.
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750): Dunedin Consort | John Butt
Christmas Oratorio BWV 248
Bernhard Meyer - Murmuration
Great ensemble playing, but I really enjoy the drumming on this album.
Nice full dark sound on my ND555

It’s a great debut album, Bert. Enjoy it!
Picked this off the LP shelves !
Followed by this ripped CD
The pocket trumpet must be really tough to play - good chops required !?
Having seen her performing last night with Julia Fordham and Judie Tzuke, I thought I'd play Beverley Craven's eponymous first album. I haven't played this for many years, but now I recall there's not a bad song on here; in fact they're all gems. BTW in my view although I really went to see Julia, it was Beverley who stole the show last night - she seems so comfortable with the audience. She has a wicked sense of humour too. I wish her well for her current health issues and look forward to seeing her again soon.
Tony Moreno quintet - Short stories
Nice modern jazz by the Tony Moreno quintet.
Personnel: Jean-Michel Pilc: piano; Ugonna Okegwo: bass; Tony Moreno: drums; Marc Mommaas: tenor saxophone; Ron Horton: trumpet.
Now playing...................
Ray LaMontagne - Till The Sun Turns Black
Streaming on NAS............ time for Ray, recently this is one of my favorite albums to give a spin! Love it.......
First play of this which arrived on Saturday, just tenor sax, bass and drums. Drums on all bar one track played by Elvin Jones, so expecting some sparks from an intimate trio.

Amazingly, the drummer (Michael Shrieve) was in his teens and the guitarist Neal Schon and keyboardist Gregg Rolie became founding members of the original (four piece) version of Journey.
Another artist discovered via the Music Room. A fine album
Sarah Jarosz - Follow Me Down
Vinyl released 1984 - Excellent album ????
Japanese SHM-CD. Mono, January/February 1956
