On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Johnny Hartman - The voice that is.
The Eagles - One of These Nights. I've always had a soft spot for this LP after going in my teenage years with my dad to a hifi shop to buy a new system for the family. The sales person demonstrated a system to us by playing the title track off this LP and I thought it sounded fantastic. My dad bought the system - I think it was a Dual turntable, with a NAD 3020 amp and Mission 700 speakers. I bought the LP not long after.
Public Image Ltd. - Public Image.
Mr. Lydon proving that there was life after the Pistols .............. great album.
Stan Getz & Kenny Barron - People time
Stan Getz - Sax; Kenny Barron - Piano.
Double CD compilation of eaely jazz, going all the way back to 1917!
Just a small part of a very comprehensive reworking of familiar material by two moon loonies...
Earlier this evening

Joshua Redman Quartet - Spirit of the Moment. Another sweet one at the Village Vanguard, 1995.
Original vinyl released 1980 - A polished album from the Dan. ????
Public Service Broadcasting - The Race For Space.
Recommended to me by David Hendon of this parish. It’s always good to try something new.
Normally not such a Bowie fan, but after the fine last album, I had a need for more...
As mentioned on the other thread I got wowed by the sound of the ND555 at the beginning of this album, great album as well....

Just see that the app again was striking on me, this is the high res version...
Fink - Perfect Darkness. Fink - Biscuits For Breakfast. Fink - Distance And Time.
Settling down for an evening with the inestimable Mr. Greenall, a personal favourite of mine, yet sadly under appreciated here in UK.
If he's new to you, then virtually all of his music is available on Tidal, so do yourself favour and have a listen, and I imagine you will
hear what the rest of us are enthusing about.
This was also sounding fantastic...
Felt the urge to switch to this one to listen to the new level on the ND555
I am very happy with this album as it is a document besides the also fantastic Live in Hamburg...
Seal - Soul.
