On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:

Lullaby and The Ceaseless Roar
In the mood for some more Robert Plant this time with his regular companions The Space Shifters, he just gets better and better doesn't he?
I hadn’t heard of Shunske Sato and would have passed on this recording if I hadn’t learned of him as Jos van Veldhoven’s successor at the Dutch Bach Society. That bit of news made me curious and he turns out to be a spectacularly good baroque fiddler. The Bach concertos are quite tricky to pull off, despite their popularity, and this is easily one of the best recordings I’ve heard.

Tangerine Dream
Charlie Mingus - Black Saint (1963)
Hopefully no reason or excuse should be required for playing this masterpiece. Surprisingly described by Mingus as ballet music! Stunning sound.
Atlantic vinyl
Why? Thought I'd listen to them properly instead of the thin sound of digital radio,

Mighty Mo Rodgers - Blues Is My Wailin' Wall
I have listened to loads of music recently and must say this stands out.
It is possibly my favourite discovery on here, it is an absolute belter (cheers Ewemon).
If you like the blues, you are going to love this.
Playing on Vinyl - Very relaxing ambient electronica from Tangerine Dream from 1974
Paul McCartney - Thrillington, which features easy listening instrumental cover versions of the Ram album tracks. It was released under the pseudonym of Percy "Thrills" Thrillington.Interesting?.What's that you say? Yeah you're right ....... it's crap
Ray Davies - Working Man's Cafe, from 07.
S Winwood - Arc of A Diver
A great record from my time at the College of Knowledge.
