What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
Hendrix on double vinyl, from the 6-LP/1-BD 50th anniversary box set of Electric Ladyland. Interesting stuff so far - I suspect this one will bear up to repeated listening.
(1987)
Secrets of the Beehive
David Sylvian in fine form on his fourth solo album, he has such a very distinctive voice that is instantly recognisable in whatever genre he might be dabbling.
Angela Hewitt - Bach: the English suites
On of the finest recordings of the English suites, imo.
Kevin-W posted:From the 8-CD Problem Child live set, disc seven (Hell Ain't a Bad Place), which was recorded at the Hammersmith Odeon on 2nd November 1979. I was there! And I touched Angus' satchel! Yay!
An absolure brilliant live band. Saw them in 76 at Leith Town Hall where Angus ran along the balcony

The Long Run
This was a very difficult album for the breaking up Eagles to make, not many like it but for some strange reason I do. This 2005 SHM-CD is the best sounding copy that I have including the Hi-Res release.
Art Pepper with Duke Jordan - In Copenhagen 1981

- Clarinet – Art Pepper (tracks: 2-4)

- Piano – Duke Jordan

Playing on Vinyl on Chess Records - A Great Sonny Boy Williamson 6 album box set - Loads of Alternative versions and out takes and a nice booklet contained within.
Mandolin Orange - Blindfaller
CD, 2016
The gravel-voiced blues belter's Chess years (much of the material was written and produced by Willie Dixon) collected on a fine-sounding CD. Wang dang doodle indeed.
After the week that was, I felt a bit of "No More Heroes" and "Nice n' Sleazy" was called for, accompanied as always by something cold and wet and tonight that's a nice IPA! This copy has been played out of it's skin over the years but the LP12 still does it justice:
Green Desert
This one is ripped from the original CD release on the Jive Electro label in 1986. It is believed to have been recorded in August 1973 prior to Phaedra at the Skyline Studio, Berlin. It then lay dormant and unpublished until it was remixed and mastered 1984 and finally released in 1986. It was remastered again in 1996 and given new album art. Whatever is the actual factual history, this is a very fine album by Tangerine Dream.
An old Warhorse on Vinyl: Jennifer Warner’s, Famous Blue Raincoat. I think the Klimax Radikal earning its keep here as good timing and low noise floor is really important to get the best from this recording. It’s also further addicting me to the drumming of Vinnie Colaiuta. He’s a real star of the skins. Try Bird on a Wire in particular .

The latest Mike Zito album.
1971 - UK first pressing...
Van Der Graaf - Pawn Hearts...
Another old Warhorse. MK here in person in the room making it both cry and sing.
Boy George and Culture Club, Life.
When the moods takes, I love a bit of pop and this is a very enjoyable album.
