Popular Problems
An old cliched term but his voice got better and better like a fine vintage wine, another lovely late album from the man, Leonard Cohen.
Still new to me but I'm definitely liking this, as I do the other two albums by Natalie Merchant that I've recently bought. Another great recommendation from this thread.
Don Byron: A Fine Line- Arias and Lieder. A rather forgotten clarinettist these days but he's made some great records.
Lots of vocals here and a wide range of songs - not often you get Ornette, Puccini and Roy Orbison on the same record.
Playing on Vinyl - Great solo album by Roger Mc Guinn from 1991
Melanie De Biasio - Lilies
Misha Mengelberg - Four in one
Great jazz by Misha Mengelberg and his quartet. Misha has his own unique style.
Misha Mengelberg, piano; Dave Douglas, trumpet; Brad Jones, bass; Han Bennink, drums.
just had to play "Until I believe in my Soul" earlier today … sounded fantastic, now o feel better and can play other stuff...
oh, also played "Lets get This Straight from the Start"... :-)

I'm not normally particularly keen on Stan Getz, but this session with Bill Evans really works and it grows on me each time I revisit.
So what if I played this as well -- never fails to please... :-)

Cara Dillon - Wanderer
Wow!
Chris Jones & Steve Baker - Smoke And Noise
An absolute belter. The finest acoustic guitar and harp playing you are likely to hear and Chris had a blinding voice.
My system sounds like it is on steroids tonight, don't know if it is me, but I'm enjoying the music!
Playing on Vinyl - Always love side 1 as it's relentless with one brilliant track after another.
For any Norah Jones fans this is definitely one for your collection.
Now playing..........
Leonard Cohen - I'm Your Man
Streaming on NAS............ Late Sunday morning and taking Leonard out for spin, 'First We Take Manhattan' is sounding mighty sweet, great vocals, music and lyrics!

Next up from 2012, some red dirt music.
Came out in March this year. Recommended to em by a friend from Texas.
