What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
I've had a bit of a Radiohead obsession today, finally finishing with this one. Delightfully intense.
Radiohead - A Moon Shaped Pool
Bellowhead - Hedonism.
The Front Line - various artists.
3 CD set of 70's roots reggae ............. 54 tracks of the good stuff ..................... highly recommended.
There are certain opening lines that without being able to articulate in an essay exactly why they appeal so much, do really do it for me:
Roon tells me this is my most played Bowie album.
.sjb
David Rodigan's Dubwize Shower - various artists.
As would be expected, a tighter than tight dub set from the well respected English radio dj and selector.
There's choons from King Tubby, Keith Hudson and Sly and Robbie, together with some lesser known, newer faces.
Highly recommended.
Just Finished.........
Mark Knopfler - Down The Road Wherever
Streamed on NAS......... New arrival and enjoyed the first spin quite a bit!
Now playing........
Rebbeca McDade - To Call Home
Streaming on TIDAL........ Taking Rebbeca out for a second spin and she is sounding mighty sweet.
Now playing..........
Jennifer Warnes (The songs of Leonard Cohen) - Famous Blue Raincoat: 20th Anniversary Edition
Streaming on TIDAL........ I have played this a couple of times in the past and found it to be quite enjoyable. At some point I will find a reasonably priced CD and pick up a copy, in the meantime loving the accessibility on TIDAL!

Greg Cohen: Moment to Moment. John Zorn's bass player. This is more straight-ahead with Teddy Edwards on tenor.

Bert,
how are you liking Francois' Chopin?
Hey Richard - I'm a Brummie and long time John Zorn fan. (Old Silhillian, and my mother lived in 42 Erdington Hall Rd in the war.)
Original vinyl released 1972 - A bit of Bowie to kick things off. ????
David Bowie
Hunky Dory (2015 Remaster) - CD Rip
Starting the day with my favourite Bowie album.

His Chopin is a mixed bag. It has quite some interesting sparks. And overall is an interesting cycle to have. However depending on what it is it's more or less interesting. None of the recordings would be among the best ones, but they are interesting enough to not neglect them. For the specific preludes - a bit raw playing, not showing off all the nice details of the pieces. But again some individuals preludes are again very nice. So give it a try via Tidal and find out if you like it enough to own it.
Still need a couple of plays to be able to appreciate it more, or it's just not as good as the material before...
Very nice for listening in contemplation...
Playing on Compact Disc on Hyperion - Enchanting Bach to get the working day going
Released 2010 - Fine album from Korean pop/jazz combo. ????
Moody Blues - Sojourn - vinyl
I been enjoying playing this, ELP, Yes in the last few days along with classical. The sound is so amazing with all the subtleties. This is my time of year for music to beat off the winter blues. Hit me bad this year after 5 weeks walking 452 miles from Pamplona to Santiago de Compostela. The sunset at Finisterre was something to behold. Lots more photos through my Facebook blog via robocap dot org dot uk. Worth the read to understand why walking the Camino is such an experience.

An Alan Parsons masterpiece.
