What are you listening to and WHY might anyone be interested? (Vol. XIV)

On the eve of a new year, it's time for a new thread.
Last year's thread can be found here:
(1970)
Wishbone Ash
Same year, more great music and vibes this time with Wishbone Ash doing their twin lead guitar attack thing to great effect on their eponymous debut album.
Paul Simon
In The Blue Light - 24/96
Edward
Raymond Byron & The White Freighter - Little Death Shaker, WAV CD rip
A listen from earlier today to a find from this thread. Excellent Americana with a dark tinge.
Playing on Vinyl - Fabulous Chicago Blues from Jimmy Dawkins from 1975
Bentley Caldwell - The Place That I Call Home, WAV CD rip
Damn he’s got a great voice, and uses it so well.
After talk of Rush earlier in the thread
Time Stand Still:The Collection.
The Kinks - Live at Kelvin Hall, 2017 vinyl reissue
Great songs played wonderfully by the Kinks, the audience are wild. Excellent SQ again from the 2017 Mono box set. I saw Tabby playing it on cassette earlier.
Eric Clapton - Another Ticket.
Gary Moore - Still Got The Blues, Original U.K. vinyl
Stonking Blues album, Moore’s on fine form with the axe.
Vaughan Williams - Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis
Conductor - Andrew Davis
Since watching a program on BBC last weekend, I have become rather addicted to this one.
Duke Ellington and Johnny Hodges - Side by Side
I was just looking to see about buying the album with Coleman Hawkins which I see is being rereleased along with a number of other of the Duke's albums. Does anyone know why? They certainly don't need remastering.
John Mayer - Paradise Valley, his second album to feature country and Americana influences ,and a move away from pop/rock.
Kevin-W posted:Listening to the "main" or "core" album from this set, on vinyl. They have done a really good job on it, I think.
It certainly is a very, very good job on the CD which is now near the original vinyl.
So after a hectic day in London, what better than to get home, cap a beer or three and unwind with this on CD - totally gorgeous and captivating:

Your image isn't showing, Jonners
Chet Atkins & Mark Knopfler - Neck and Neck.
Paul McCartney : All the Best Original vinyl
'Certified wobbly' by a postgrad friend of mine at point of issue, this album retains a tie beyond the usual 'best of' in the same way that Queen's Greatest Hits has a certain synergy beyond the sum of its parts.
And sounding sensational without Torlyte...

Great album. Knopfler references Atkins as the inspiration behind the title of his new album.
Gomez: In our Gun, original vinyl.
Terrific dynamics, and inventive rhythms, now revealed without the smear of Torlyte!

Agreed Loki, its such a great album that I've hit repeat, and thanks for the reminder to get the new MK album.
Tabby cat posted:Playing on Compact Disc - Brilliant debut album from 2004 from The Killers - One of those albums where there isn't a weak track.Top stuff.
Great live band too I saw them perform at a V Festival once and last years performance in one the of tents at Glastonbury was excellent.
Jazz meets reggae. Great fun and very listenable.
Yesterday evening before going to sleep...
