Didn't see the original and looking forward to not watching the sequel.

Reminds me of a cinema poster for the re-run of a film

You're missing out and kinda missing the point too Tony.

This being one of them:

I'm guessing that with those teeth, she's playing one of the sharks...?

Die Hard 4.0.   Only John McClane/Bruce Willis can take down an in-flight helicopter with a police car and fall onto the top of a dying F-35 and survive. Great stuff.

They don't make cops like him anymore.

As a matter of interest about film hard men,John Wayne never served in the army dodged the draft , Bruce Wilice admits he's a big softy , A real hard man had a baby face almost failed Second World War army medical be cause of his height he was decorated war hero, Audey murphy not seen much on DVDs a pity, he played in westerns.

Last night I watched Searching For Sugar Man.  This is a film that should appeal to everyone on this forum.  An incredible story about a brilliant musician that hardly anyone had ever heard about - except in South Africa where he had become a cult figure, but was assumed long dead.  Great music and straight after watching I ordered the album - on vinyl of course!

Yep, this is good one. Watched it the other night. Also ordered the second album on CD (we already have the first one). My sister had "Cold Fact" when we were in high school. He was actually pretty popular in Australia where we lived as I recall.

Seen it many time before and it always makes me laugh. One of several Guy Richie movies I enjoy.

Bit of British stiff upper lip mixed with public school accents.  Enjoyable though.

Django still here to be watched but ended up going through the first 3 films of X-men Quadrilogy collection on Blu-ray over the last 3 nights instead. Great fun - picture and sound quality are top notch. The effects really showing what a decent Naim AV set up is capable of.

Well made but so sad..  I am not at all into warriors films but this one was recommended by a Korean friend of mine and I am glad I watched it.

I thought this was an excellent film.  Based on a true story,  indeed it was filmed on location off the coast of Somalia on board the MV Rosen, the very ship (and crewed by the very same people) that went through the real hijacking.  Strongly recommended.

Haven't seen this in at least a decade.

Almost half a century old and its energy, freshness and invention remains utterly undimmed.

I expect some will be along soon to say the Beatles invented  moving pictures.

I agree though it's a good film.

I thought the Hunter was excellent - much better than expected.

This one finally made it to DVD in a good transfer although still cut in a number of parts - I'm not sure many people have seen it uncut but there's lots of info out there as to what didn't make it.  Based on a true story, it's not the easiest of viewing but beautifully made and a career best performance from Olly Reed and also from Vanessa Redgrave;

Agreed. The scene where the hunter kills the bad guy could have been a little more realistic. You cannot use a scope while shooting someone from four feet because everything in it will look blurry. It is only a minor detail but they should have known better and make him fire from the hip.

Films are all about make believe and I will not mention any indoors speakers hanging forever on a tree in the kind of weather they had there..

You should watch it just for the speakers scene. They were using S600s..
