A handsome young Parcelforce driver knocked on my door this afternoon and handed me this big box...

14 albums (4 of which are double) ...so 18 LP's in all. (recent HMV sale £149.99)

19.99 direct from Universal. Working my way through the vinyl and its a gem, sounds wonderful.

Plus postage.

Not certain of the year of release but the recording was done in '58.

Double (180g) LP - Purchased last night from the 'Lamb' gig @ the magnificent Somerset House.

Although the LP cover is a white background, only using the 5 symbol |||| 

Seems to be a limted edition, as I cannot find it on t'internet

Box sets produced by Supraphon in the mid 80's.

This seems to be a commemorative edition for the 100th anniversary of Smetana's death in 1884

Won on ebay auction bid.. okay, i admit i was the only bidder  

... 33 near mint condition LP's for less than a quid each (which includes the p&p.)

It's a shame vol.2 isn't present, it has the piano compositions performed by ...Klavirni Skladby (?)

My favorite Calexico album. Have you watched their live at the Barbican DVD. It's this album played live by the group and a mariachi band. It's never too far away from my DVD player.

Calexico is very new to me, but the more i hear the more i like, a very good band : )

i must admit i got very lucky with those sale prices on HMV.

i've just seen the 5 star reviews on amazon and put the Live at the Barbican dvd on my wish list.

I'm tempted : )

yes an excellent album, my copy arrived last Friday, it's a great pressing - sounds lovely on the rega but my copy has just too much warp... need to send it back for replacement.

my AT 95-E cartridge is the Gaucho - ride that bucking record, cowboy!

a 'collection' won on ebay (from a known trustworthy dealer).

Most of them are in near mint condition, many are mint, [one new in wrapper] some EX, EX+, and EX++

They're also very clean too, and no static, nice!

A fantastic assortment, i'm enjoying them already
