kuma,

Have you got the new Battles Gloss Drop double vinyl album yet?

I did send you a mail a couple of weeks back before it came out.

Its imo better than their last album by a long way.Their are some good vocals on this one.

Arrived this morning from Vinyl 180...

Dead Can Dance II

&...

Already played Replicas ~ vinyl quality is excellent but as with all Vinyl 180 I find it comes statically charged and dusted with paper fluff, so all these are going on the Okki Nokki later

I know the music is fabulous (have them on CD's too)

But my set needed a good clean to get rid of the paper dust and static.

.... and i can see very slight warping

My first DCD box-set went back because of warping... i think someone ought to tell them we don't like warpy records

Haven't played them yet, here's hoping, The Serpent's Egg disc came with two labels stuck on one side, the outer one was hanging off (and then fell off) the under label is not on strait.. or if is it, then the hole is not in the middle of the record. I'll find out later.

I'm not impressed with Vinyl 180 quality control

I'm going back to bed, i'm far too grumpy this early in the morning.

Deb's,

Sorry to hear that .

My set are all flat and clean. They also sound great.

One of the best packed vinyl i have ever had also.

In a thick poly outer box.

Stu.
