DVD-A Ripped 24bit 96Khz Rush: Moving Pictures Intro Bought the recent release and ripped the HiDef track using DVDA Extractor. Analysis: Red Barchetta Audacity reports the file as 24bit/96Khz. The waveform shows that this is very LOUD. In fact...

I just received the new album from Thomas Dolby - his first since Astronaughts and Heretics way back in 1992. If you're a fan of his earlier work, I think you'll enjoy this new one called A Map of The Floating City.

I can no longer buy music in my local town centre at all: HMV, despite being a profitable branch, was closed; the only other shop the sold CDs was Smiths, and they have stopped selling CDs & DVDs. It has to be said that the range of what they sold was being reduced all the time. In the past few weeks I have been having meetings over a coffee on Saturday mornings, and have taken to bouncing around the increasing number of charity shops on the way home, I always think seeing more charity...

I recently acquired Fragile (an Analogue Productions pressing) mail order. For those of you that haven't heard it, this is an amazing version of this album. The audio and pressing quality is beyond reproach and it sounds amazing. On the strength of...
