Cancer was the cause, he was just 65.A very very sad loss. He was (especially early on in the Floyd's career) a very distinctive keyboard player, with that wonderful "Eastern" Farfisa sound. Wrote or co-wrote some great tracks, too.

Although it came out in April, I've only just found out about it. There is a compilation called Perfect Unpop Peel Show Hits & Long-Lost Lo-Fi Favourites. Vol.1 1976-80.
